To debunk the whole of science on the back of a story passed down by some Iron Age goat-herders is just self-delusion. -Neil Butcher |
Often a non-Christian knows something about the earth, the heavens, and the other parts of the world, about the motions and orbits of the stars and even their sizes and distances, ...and this knowledge he holds with certainty from reason and experience. It is thus offensive and disgraceful for an unbeliever to hear a Christian talk nonsense about such things, claiming that what he is saying is based in Scripture. -St. Augustine |

If the universe must have a cause, and God is the cause, then it follows that God must have a cause. -Herb Silverman |
What turns me against religion is that you can’t rely on the followers to think logically, rationally or with an open mind. If they did there would be no religion. Everything that happens to them is either "already written" or "god’s will." -Baron von Knifty |
So let me get this straight, the unending, all-powerful force of creation that hand-made the universe funneled himself into the body of a human fetus and then teleported the fetus into the uterus of a married virgin. He then spent 30 years on earth walking around doing basically nothing and then one day rearranged reality to set in motion events that would lead to his own death...effectively committing suicide. He does this because his death will, for some or other reason, clear humanity's sin tally (which he, himself is keeping up in heaven). And then after his plans to get himself killed fall into place, he looks around and asks himself why he has abandoned himself? Is that the basic gist of it? -Ere Thomas |
festwiz:Only the fool says in his heart: There is no god- The wise says it to the world. -Williams Blake |
If you value freedom, you should flee from religion as the antelope flees the lion. -Paula Kirby |
Circular logic and the inability to distinguish between belief and fact makes debating with the religious an exercise in futility. -Raph dappa |
Religion is the triumph of wishful thinking over reality. -Stuart Vealey |
Theist presents his assumption; God created heaven and earth. Skeptics in curiosity questions his ideology; how did God created heaven and earth?. Theist in his confused mind; it's in the BIBLE. Isn't this ridiculous? -Paul Owen |
Where knowledge ends, religion begins. -Benjamin Disraeli |
The very concept of sin comes from the bible. Christianity offers to solve a problem of its own making! Would you be thankful to a person who cut you with a knife in order to sell you a bandage? -Dan Barker |
The more I study religions the more I am convinced that man never worshipped anything but himself. -Richard Francis Burton |
Give a man a fish, and you'll feed him for a day; Teach him how to fish and you've feed him for his life time; Give him religion, and he'll starve to death while praying for a fish. -Benjamin Disraeli |

enilove:Are you saying God has been in existence since inexistence? |
@enilove your claim is absurd in every sense If you claim that a supernatural force is behind the cause of all existence then what/who is behind the force? For him to create all this then he must have a creator |
johnydon22:Haa! Base on the fairy tales religion make us to believe The world should be better than this |
