UCAP Technical view Triangle consolidation since jan 2025 Awaiting Wave E completion around ₦16 – ₦17.9 Current price: ₦18.05 Triangle invalidation below ₦14.3 Breakout upside target: ₦30 – ₦35 Fundamentals remain solid — no structural issues. The current triangle is a coiled spring, not a sign of weakness. Wave E dip (if it comes) into ₦16–17.9 zone would offer a high-RR entry for those with a medium-term horizon. ref: ewnation ewnation/bot Enjoy

How to maximise your entry in the market regardless of asset

The US-Israel-Iran war has created a high-stakes environment for the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) and a lot of the movements inthe coming weeks, with specific stocks reacting sharply to both escalation threats and ceasefire rumors. Summary of Reaction Triggers and Scenario with Likely Stock Reaction Ceasefire Agreed -Bearish for Oil & Gas; Bullish for Consumer Goods & MTNN (lower costs). Hormuz Blockade - Strongly Bullish for Seplat/Aradel; Bearish for Manufacturing (soaring energy costs). CBN Rate Hike - Bullish for Banks (GTCo/Zenith); Bearish for heavily leveraged Industrial firms. |
Dupeodus:ewnation encourages a hybrid approach where a portion of your portfolio is long term (investor) and a portion is mid term (trader) , reason is simple, while investors wait years for a payoff, traders take control of their financial destiny in real-time. The idea that only investors make money is a common myth—traders are the ones who capture the market's immediate opportunities and generate consistent cash flow. Traders don’t "ride the ship down" during a market crash, we have met our targets and often partial (exit some or most of our positon) . While investors watch their portfolios shrink by 30% or more.. An investor might wait a year for an 20–80% return. A skilled trader aims to hit those same percentages in months or less. By reinvesting those frequent gains, the math of compounding works exponentially faster for a trader than for a "buy and hold" spectator. Investing is a retirement game; trading is for life right now. Trading provides a liquid income stream that can reinvest or materialise, rather than locking capital away in a "vault" for twenty years. EDUECO:If AccessCorp is truly the "gold standard," shouldn't we see that dominance reflected in the numbers and market sentiment much sooner than 15 years from now? What specifically do you think will happen in the next decade that finally settles the debate, do you have a crystall ball? Are you looking at their expansion into the payments space (Hydrogen) or their international footprint as the "X factor" that leaves the others behind? just curious! |

MisterInvestor:we trade the both south african and kenyan markets....sa is most liquid on the continent with 431 equities, nigeria 311 while kenya boasts on 50 but they are trying..... i believe their will be time when africans will be smart to know that we shoudl invest in our own...we have some much african economic power in nasdaq and nyse when some of this investments could also turn around our companies,South Africans have done well in this area. Their pension funds, institutional investors, and even retail traders actively support their local market. It's not just patriotism — it's practicality. They understand that investing in their own economy creates a flywheel effect: capital flows into local businesses, those businesses grow, jobs are created, and the market deepens. The result? The JSE remains one of the most developed exchanges on the continent. How many of us are putting serious capital into Nigerian banks, Kenyan telecoms, South African retailers, or Egyptian blue chips? Yet we'll pour money into the same US tech stocks everyone else is chasing..There's nothing wrong with investing in US markets — diversification matters. But the balance feels off. We have so much African economic power sitting in the NASDAQ and NYSE, capital that could also help turn around African companies if redirected in part.
