naa, I don't think so..
They ve been around for quite some time.
Like fintechs specifically for saving money and earn interest and largely online based.
(unlike previously established Aso-savings with physical locations)

I liken them to Bamboo and Chaka when compared to mainstream brokers(cardinal Stone, Stanbicbrokers, Meristem, etc)

Just like Opay and moniepoint as compared to mainstream banks(FUGAZ, etc)

Though I don't patronize them.
Putting an entire ₦194 million nest egg into a single fintech app creates a concentration risk.

ZenithBank: - We called this exact move since our March 30th chart breakdown!
The Call: We projected a hard rejection at 135 resistance.
The Reality: Price reversed perfectly at the top and is currently sitting at 122.
This is exactly how high-probability technical analysis works. Stop/reduce guessing the markets and increase your precision.
Entry 100-110
Enjoy

Guys, this one was telegraphed weeks ago and the market is delivering...and yet another oppoutinity to catch this shown in bettom left chart
(NEIMETH as a long setup back when price was consolidating around the ₦7.5–₦8.1 zone. The Elliott Wave structure was screaming — a classic corrective ABC pattern completing wave (c) into the demand zone, setting up for an impulsive move higher.
The setup:

Entry zone: ₦7.5 – ₦8.7 (averaged in at ₦8.1)
Stop Loss: ₦6.5
Bias: Bullish (Long)

Current status — targets being hit:
✅ ₦9.8 (+20.99%) — done
✅ ₦10.335 (+27.59%) — done
✅ ₦10.87 (+34.20%) — done
🎯 ₦11.4, ₦11.935, ₦12.47, ₦13.0 — still in play
The 1-hour chart showed a falling wedge within the larger corrective structure, with wave (5) completing around the 7.5 area. The projected extension targets using Fibonacci — 61.8x wave 1 giving ~₦8.7 (already blown past) and 100x giving ₦8.4 — have been exceeded, confirming the impulsive character of the move.
This is Elliott Wave analysis working in real time on the Nigerian Exchange. Not guesswork — structure, targets, and levels all defined in advance.
When the wave count aligns with the demand zone, you load up and let the market do its thing.

CHAMS | NGX:CHAMS — May 19 Update

Called it April 13! Wave (2) bottomed at 2.8, structure playing out beautifully.

Now tracking Wave (3) with internal waves developing:
🔵 Already tagged ~3.7 on wave 1
🔵 Watching 2.8 as key invalidation
🔵 Eyes on 4.5–5+ for Wave (3) extension

Price: 3.3 | Bias: Still Bullish 🟢

UCAP
Technical view
Triangle consolidation since jan 2025
Awaiting Wave E completion around ₦16 – ₦17.9
Current price: ₦18.05
Triangle invalidation below ₦14.3
Breakout upside target: ₦30 – ₦35
Fundamentals remain solid — no structural issues. The current triangle is a coiled spring, not a sign of weakness. Wave E dip (if it comes) into ₦16–17.9 zone would offer a high-RR entry for those with a medium-term horizon.

The US-Israel-Iran war has created a high-stakes environment for the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) and a lot of the movements inthe coming weeks, with specific stocks reacting sharply to both escalation threats and ceasefire rumors.
Summary of Reaction Triggers and Scenario with Likely Stock Reaction
Ceasefire Agreed -Bearish for Oil & Gas; Bullish for Consumer Goods & MTNN (lower costs).
Hormuz Blockade - Strongly Bullish for Seplat/Aradel; Bearish for Manufacturing (soaring energy costs).
CBN Rate Hike - Bullish for Banks (GTCo/Zenith); Bearish for heavily leveraged Industrial firms.

Dupeodus:
There are investors and there are traders. Everyone does what fits his/her temperament. What I have heard though is that it is investors that make money in the long run.
ewnation encourages a hybrid approach where a portion of your portfolio is long term (investor) and a portion is mid term (trader) , reason is simple, while investors wait years for a payoff, traders take control of their financial destiny in real-time. The idea that only investors make money is a common myth—traders are the ones who capture the market's immediate opportunities and generate consistent cash flow.

Traders don’t "ride the ship down" during a market crash, we have met our targets and often partial (exit some or most of our positon) . While investors watch their portfolios shrink by 30% or more..

An investor might wait a year for an 20–80% return. A skilled trader aims to hit those same percentages in months or less. By reinvesting those frequent gains, the math of compounding works exponentially faster for a trader than for a "buy and hold" spectator.

Investing is a retirement game; trading is for life right now. Trading provides a liquid income stream that can reinvest or materialise, rather than locking capital away in a "vault" for twenty years.

EDUECO:
Where is Oando and Ellah Lekos on the list?

ACCESSCORP is the gold standard of Nigerian banking industry and not Zenith Bank or GTBank!

By 2041 you will remember this my post. grin
If AccessCorp is truly the "gold standard," shouldn't we see that dominance reflected in the numbers and market sentiment much sooner than 15 years from now? What specifically do you think will happen in the next decade that finally settles the debate, do you have a crystall ball?
Are you looking at their expansion into the payments space (Hydrogen) or their international footprint as the "X factor" that leaves the others behind? just curious!
