I TTC for almost 3years, 3 trying years but the lord decided to smile on me Feb 16th 2017, a month to my 31st birthday I tested positive, the early stage of my pregnancy was abit eventful from spotting @ 6weeks to MS dat tured me to vegetables.My 2nd trimester and 3rd was smooth expect for little challenges that I know comes with pregnancy.

EDD according to LMP was 23rd but 25th according to dating scan, 23rd and 25th came and go without show and I was a bit worried so on 26th which was my ANC doc asked me to go use castor oil and come back for inducement on Monday if nothing happens, I shared my castor oil experience here and it wasn't funny @ all. So yesterday ard 10pm we got to d hospital and I was admitted immediately, @ 12:12pm misclear was inserted and 15minutes later contraction started but mild and manageable dat d matron was even saying I wasn't contracting, ard 6pm d contractions was something else coming immediately after d oda and by den I Don forget d gentle girl habit screaming and shouting hubby ran out of d ward and was peeping form d window, chai dat bed iron and d cupboard beside me suffer d nurses even nickname me where is d lord God of Elijah appear by fire by 7:20 or so d nurse gave me and injection and I suspected it was oxytocin immediately I started shouting I no want o and she said it wasn't oxytocin but mention d name and I no it ended with cin and I kept screaming everything na cin o, immediately after d injection I started feeling d heaviness between my legs, d nurses came and I said its time to go into d delivery room I couldn't stand God bless my nurse she helped me up begging me to wear my slippers but I refused, tie wrapper dat men were outside I kept telling her na man do me like dis o, I sha managed tie wrapper and enter d delivery room, even while standing d baby Don dey push me and d nurse dey tell not to push, I climbed bed and my water was burst, my baby came out after d 2nd push but with cut from d nurse, I guess he was a bit stressed cos he kept pooing immediately he came out, he weigh 3.1kg, I refused to be stitch until I was given injection and am I mother to a wonder baby boy dat I can see d traces already he's going to like food.

It's that purging gangan that is the problem. The idea is to irritate your stomach into "irritating" your uterus to contract. Ndo

My sister dat purging na something else, it got to a stage I didn't know wen d tin find its escape route from my bumbum I only knew something don land for bed, hubby was just laughing and See Me trying to justify myself telling it nt poopoo but oyel, till now d man still dey call me shitty shitty for body

If you can go to your hospital today, request for a membrane sweep or if you know a nurse on a personal level, Just tell her to check you if you've started dilatating.
Membrane sweep usually induces labor in termed women.
Then try to do some exercise.
Walk, dance, wash clothes, arrange the house.
Have sex

My report on castor oil, I decided to use half of a bottle on Thursday night wen hubby came back after serious prayers o, couldn't sleep till ard 1:40am cos was having mild on and off contractions and was seriously praying for d contractions to get stronger but for where, ard 2am I woke hubby up to help me warm d remaining half took it and slept off and 45minutes after gbede started o, instead of d oyel to induce labour na serious purging d tin cause o, I purge to d extend of passing out pure oil till yesterday morning wen I was able to use raw pap but in all dis purging episode my boy was busy kicking and rolling I guess he was doing tongue out for me, I just dey eye d remaining 1 bottle with bad eyes cos d weakness I suffer no be from here, I ve decided to jejely carry my flat ass go in on Monday for inducement

See dis my hubby begging me dis morning to try half bottle again and try to exercise after, but I ve told him to use it on my behalf and pray to God that has he's using it, it shd be working in my system if e get d faith

whatever pricedure you choose,make sure you are in the hospital and try not to be afraid.they can turn around to blame you in a teinkle of an eye.
I was induced by my choice at 40wks and in 7 hrs i had given birth unlike my first natural birth that lasted 20 hrs.
they used tsblets though

So happy right now, 1 of my friend @ ANC just called dat she has given birth we were still together @ clinic today infarct I was d 1 who wrote her name for her, she was examine and doc just told her to go bring her bags na me dey even encourage her cos she was scared, she called me ard 4pm and told me she Don born, A bouncing baby girl after 4boys

Do you have some one, around you can call or rely on, in absence of dh.Labour can be funny.It could hit any time. And with great speed.

Have called Dh and he said he will be home tonight, so will wait till he comes sha I told my mum abt it too she only adviced I take half bottle, just praying for God's direction now

Hmmm, my hospital policy is to give you in the hospital, they didn't allow me take it at home. I was given a full bottle mixed with hollandia milk, the 50 naira one. The whole thing barely filled a glass but the havoc it caused in my system ehn...I was glad I was being monitored in the hospital

My doctor recommended taking the whole bottle with Orange juice or a bottle of Pepsi then
But I only took two tablespoons with a little Pepsi cos I was too scared to take the whole bottle after reading beedam's bs.

E no work for me o n my dr said the amount i took was too small to cause Labour!

Ewww fear Don dey catch me o, in as much as I want to meet my Lo and don't want to port enter November, I don't want anything that will stress me and my baby

Sorry Ma'am I never used Castor oil to induce labour. But I feel you should be under ur Dr's surveillance since he placed you on it.pls don't do this alone at home.you can verify the dosage from your Dr if you have his contact or wait for other mamas to comment.

Well my dear, do your research first. Castor oil works in inducing labor but what comes with it if it fails is not funny. I wish you just let nature take its place or if you're past your due date, do the medical induction.

I was told by my doctor to take half a bottle and 6 oranges in d a fternoon,d remaining half and another 6 oranges at night at climbing of stairs and sex...me I took just about a quarter and 5 oranges cos I was afraid of d reviews av heard abt it..nd within 3 hours I fell into labor nd delivered ,ddnt even take d second dose.
