Good day beautiful Mamas,my jenuary teammates how is the journey going hope you are all doing ok.. please I have a question,I went for anti_natal yesterday, when the doctor saw me and saw my record she was like your tummy looks like someone having twins or you are close to giving birth and I am Just 30weeks, anytime I go out people will be addressing me as mama twins, because the tummy is very big and all d 4scan I did shows is one baby,but the doctor said is just my tummy that is big not the baby,I am scared, please how can I reduce the tummy,or what can I do to make the tummy go normal,it's even going down now

Mama just like our body sizes and shapes l, it's normal to have different shapes and size of bumps.....My doctor told me same thing when he saw on Monday after palpating and everything that my tommy looks big at almost 39weeks, only for a friend to see me this morning and said my tommy is small....Abeg I don't take people's comment Abt my bump serious as long doctors and scan confirm baby is fine

That walking thing ehn, imagine hubby and i strolling and oga was like madam walk straight small now and all my mind before was that I was adding lirule swag to my waddling... . It will definitely end in praise

Hubby and I use to joke about how this pregnancy bump is smaller to my 2 previous pregnancies and I was also happy about it, but I never knew wot the bible meant when it said your latter end shall be greater than the former....Omo this few weeks had d bump shooting out from no where.

Funny enough, I felt the same way..I was tired too..visited the hospital for antenatal on Sunday and then boom!!!

God, it's like am already in my elasticity abi na breaking limit..... Everything/everyone annoys me.... Everywhere hurts..... Walking, sleeping, sitting hurts..... Sleep self don leave me waka go, even though this is my 3rd pregnancy but it feels like it's d first.. My pubis Bone hurts so much, I think I will beg d doctor when I go for Ante-natal clinic tomorrow for membrane sweep or even induction self....Only that government hospital with their policy.....I know and pray it will end in praise

With joy in my heart, i announce the arrival of my Prince charming on Wednesday at 9:35am via elective CS, birth weight is 3.6kg. We are both doing great though I am still in recovery stage. I will drop my BS once I am fully recovered.

Sleep don disappear, fully awake since 1am.....No light to even watch Television

Goodmorning mama's. Please my baby who just turned one cannot sleep unless I back her. Both afternoon nap Nd to sleep at night I must back her. This is getting stressful as she is getting bigger. Also right now don't knw what to do as she will wake up every night about 2-4times before day break to suck breast to get back to sleep. I wasnot lactating much so I know even now d milk is not rushing and she just using d breast as a means to pacify herself . Pls I need tips on what to do so she sleeps independently without backing her and also her sleeping all through the night till morning.

This was just d story of my life last year and early dis year, my small madam will not sleep until I back her den gently put her down on d bed, but I woke up one day and I decided enough is enough, I will put on d bed when she's sleepy lie down there with her and continue patting her until she doses off, @ first it wasn't easy cos we might be there for over an hour but she got used to it eventually and sleep off herself now..... About night feeding MamaD can wake up to 4times at night just to suck feeder chai a girl of over 2years d thing got tiring when I became pregnant and i decided not to feed her one particular night even though we did vigil, den she felt sick few days after and rejected Feeder and pap totally I kuku use the opportunity to wean her from night feeding na she can sleep 6pm till 7am.....Just try and start reducing d number of time u feed her at night and also the quantity, make it a gradual process and feed her well at night before bed

The twins landed at at 4:09 and 4:11pm respectively yesterday!!!

Hi mamas, good evening. Please, is it normal for baby not to kick for 2 days? I'm 35weeks 5days.

Did scan, everything seems to be normal but during the scan of about 10 to 15minutes baby didnt move but heartbeat was regular at 141bpm.

Teamie I will suggest you go see ur doc, remember less fetal movement is one of the signs we are ask to always watch out for.... Thought babies too have their own quite time but at least let d Dr be aware

I think it's normal for some people to loose their mucus plugs days or even week before labour start

Hi mama.
I have not completed my birth story due to stress of handling Baby and my own need for sleep too but I need to chip a message in cos I saw your comment.
A day before I delivered I ran to the hospital due to intense contraction, doctor dismissed my contraction as first time mother drama but I knew what I was going through, so I went back home due to closed cervix.
The morning of the day I delivered the contraction increased, ran to the hospital cos I could not cope, the same doctor and nurse dismissed my contraction as first time mother drama cos cervix was still closed.
I told them to call MD and admit me cos I could not cope again. MD came in the evening, he said my cervix was still close but I am truly in labour, the only person that believed me, he asked if I used local herbs that can cause contraction I said no.
They did enema for me so I can use the toilet, he induced me with injections and one thing that looks like a small transparent ball with rubber rope attached to it. The ball was inserted inside my vagina and the ball pulled out within two hours of more intense contraction. It was from that moment I think the cervix moved to 10cm from 0cm.
I delivered after like 4 pushes.
So I gave birth on 39 weeks 6 days.

Thanks mama for this, am planning of watching it till weekend or so before going to d hospital cos I don't want all this their chucking hands inside my honey pot....

Good morning my ATC mamas(About to Conceive) , how is everyone doing?
This post is just to encourage u all that this journey is not going to be forever, So many mamas has passed through this forum and are now joyful mothers of lovely Children. I am also a living testimony that God answereth Prayers, have been here before with different diagnosis but God stood up for me....

Let's always work with our gynae, be prayerful, think less(I know how difficult this is), sow seeds, infact pay offerings on behalf of our babies....Buy baby things in faith, Name our babies and call them by their name in faith.

And I remember so many activities we use to have here that have stopped, we can bring those activities back to life.....We use to have Prayer Mondays, Night Vigils and Faith bumps day...God has used this activities to bless so many of us and I know he's still here in our Midst.
And Finally remember u are all always in my prayers, and We await ur multiple BFP testimonies/Announcement on the Pregnancy forum.... Sparkling baby dust on everyone
