So long as you are applying with a Nigerian passport, you will need to include

1) your passport with more than 6 months validity remaining
2) a passport photo
3) your DS-160 confirmation page
4) your dropbox confirmation page
5) your MRV Fee payment receipt

If your passport was issued by another country you are not eligible for dropbox in Nigeria because your prior visa was not issued in Nigeria.

@Liloupazzo... What is the name of the school? You can't just say near London bridge. I guess your answers weren't clear enough during the interview.

@Effizzy2much, pls I am about to apply but the accommodation is still a concern to me. Do u have accommodation already and if u don't what did u use as address? There is a part in the form that states what is the main address & contact details of where u will be staying, email n phone no?

Pls how did u go about it? I am really confused? That's the part I am left with and which VAC did u use?

Hello @Justwise and others, please I need your advice on accommodation. I Am about to fill the tier 4 form but I haven't secured a place yet but am planning to look for when I get my visa. Pls kindly advice me on what to fill on the accommodation part. I don't want to commit myself in to paying for accommodation deposit yet. Thank you.

@koded1999 and Bambamzzzz: I went to the vfs office this morning to check if my application is ready for collection... and guess what... it was and i have been waiting for over 3weeks....

To delight you guys again.... i was given my visa... i didnt get an approval mail or sms. It has been there since 25th of August and no one contacted me after paying for sms.

I am so so happy about this.

@justwise, spikesc, donoms and all other great nairaland pple... una thank you ooooo....

koded1999: The whole system of tracking is currently not working for most people, i suggest you go and check, they will only request your collection slip.

Good morning People, I submitted my application in Ikeja since on the 15th of August, no sms no mail till now.... Vfs tracking still showing processed passport for the past one week now. Is it advisable to go there today??

justwise: You don't need to wait to receive any message, you can visit the visa center to know if your application is there.

The problem is i am not in Lagos, is there any other means of contacting them. Do you think i should just go down to lagos,

I have not received any message. I just tracked it on UkVac track applications.

No message was sent to me. Still waiting.

justwise: Some messages will clearly state that your application has been approved and visa issued while some are not clear but that doesn't necessarily mean that you have been refused or given, you just have to pick up your package to know.

I saw the message when i tracked it on UKVAC website but i have not received any sms or email from UKVac.

Is it ok for me to go there and ask if its ready or send an email(pls send me their email add if u have it) or better still wait for sms or email from them.

Plus what does it mean... I'm so scared. I submitted on the 14th of Aug in ikeja.

I submitted on the 15th in Ikeja and thats my status too.

@Justwise... does one really get an approval mail....e.g your visa has been approved because i don't seems to understand the approval mail.

@justwise, I got the passport after marriage but all other waec and other document before marriage.

CAS requested to submit only transcript and waec result.

So the document i am submitting are as follows:
1-Transcript
2-WAEC result

Then additional information documents below:
1-TB result
2-Marriage cert/newspaper cuttings
3-Personal Bank statement
4-Passport- recent and old
5-Accommodation deposit receipt since it was not included in the CAS
6-Unconditional Admission letter
7-2 Passport photographs

Please tell me what else to include or remove from the list like what i have below:
bsc certificate
receipt of payments

justwise: Yes you have to submit TB result but not marriage certificate and change of name from newspaper cutting only if you are married and going with your family or changed your original name then publishing the new name in national newspaper and submitting the newspaper cut is one of the ways of dealing with the issue of change of name

Thank you but I have my maiden name on my waec and other certificate. Am i suppose to add it to the additional information or just leave it blank.
