The only time a Yotuba figure speaks out publicly or comes out as a people's advocate / philanthropist is when he has a hidden political agenda.


Just like because Fayose is aiming vp candidacy under PDP, he is speaking out against Buhari. Therefore going against the tide of the yotuba choice.

Saraki knows he can't get there, muslim muslim ticket is unsellable to the SE/SS, the H/F muslim won't get behind a non core Hausa northerner..

I may not be a northerner but i've lived in FCT since the days of the military, served in the core north & have worked alongside numerous northerners!
I may not know much about the north, but I know a little more than the average southerner.

That's why I dislike Nigerian politics and their mentality of a particular region being more fit to rule than the other. Its even getting worse. at least before with the military, the middle belt had a shot at the head of state. is there no way saraki can be made to appeal to both the muslim north and the yoruba sw?
