Let's even pretend that this will result in something positive. The question is, do we have to protest before the government does something?
Like I always say, the only thing the government is afraid of is the people. But in Nigeria, we are all divided along different lines, which will not allow us to hold the government accountable, so they keep doing what they like. okay o

Proof? Yea right! grin Your own version of proof i guess, so you haven't heard or read that a speeding vehicle missed the road and plunged into someone's house and killed them while they were siting indoors watching TV?

I am guessing you haven't heard or read also that someone left his house to go drink with friends in the Pub while he was at the Pub his house was burnt down by his neighbor mistakenly, if he wasn't at the Pub he woulda being killed in the fire..

In this picture, his friend killed him, why would his friend want to kill him? That is the question..
Look, evidence is everything. My mathematical proof is based on the evidence given in the picture. Perhaps if we get to a case where a car runs into a family's apartment and inflicts fatalities, we can now review and discuss that appropriately. This is a different matter entirely. But for the case shown in the picture, I insist that my proof stands. over and out....

Suffering and smiling. This mentality is what has finished Africa. And as a nation, if we continue like this, then the bondage continues. Are you saying people are not hungry? or the reasons for their demonstration are not genuine? Why are we like this? Must everything be turned into politics? shocked hmmmm

If this man dies, what really killed him?

A: Friend
B: Alcohol
C: Woman

Given:
ABC= killed him.
Proof:
If he didnt like Alcohol, you would have been in his house.
If he was in his house, he would not have seen that backside to take his gaze to.
And if he didn't take his gaze away, he wouldn't have been poisoned by his friend.
So ABC killed him, Q.E.D

Renewed hope. I can see how renewed our hope is now. When election in getting close, the same people will come near, sit with us and eat roasted plantains, agbado, and deceive many. Where are they now? We Nigerians continue to be fooled. Nothing will change if we, the people, don't make a drastic decision.
Sports / Re: SA's Bafana Bafana Jerseys Sold Out Ahead Of Super Eagles Clash (PICS) by qtx(m): 8:44pm On Feb 05
MzansiCoolio:
The groundswell of support for South Africa's national men's football team, Bafana Bafana, has received after beating World Cup semi-finalists Morocco in the African Cup of Nations has resulted in the white official supporters' replica jersey being sold out.

The two goals scored by Evidence Makgopa and Teboho Mokoena against Morocco to earn Bafana a berth in the Afcon quarterfinals reverberated throughout the country and made cash registers ring with joy.

Le Coq Sportif marketing manager Courtney Williams, while unable to supply sales numbers, confirmed the news to TimesLIVE.

“The support has been amazing and it just accentuates the good sporting news we as South Africans have had in the last year. Banyana made it to the round of 16 in the Women's World Cup, the Boks beat France, England and New Zealand in the Rugby World Cup knockout rounds by one point and then Dricus du Plessis won his UFC title fight on a split decision also by one point,” Williams said.

A winning team is its own best salesperson, he said.

“Our team performed incredibly well so far and the jersey sales fed on that feeling of good hope. The jerseys were sold out almost immediately online.”

Williams is proud of the national team.

“This shows our national resilience, but also the Bafana Bafana resilience. These players recently ended a 15-match unbeaten streak when they lost to Rwanda. Yet nobody made positive noise about their results.

“We are from a nation of one-pointers and Bafana now have a point to prove. We are all very excited about this team and their prospects in the CAF Cup.”

The last and only time South Africa won this tournament was way back in 1996.

“There is a definite spirit of the 1996 team that you can see and feel in our current crop. Their dedication and performance speaks to us as South Africans”

Before the tournament started few gave Bafana a sporting chance.

Le Coq Sportif unveiled an all-white kit that is an alternative jersey for South Africa as they head to the continental tournament to be hosted by Ivory Coast.

This is a departure from the traditional green and gold stripes that have been a signature of Bafana Bafana for years.

The new colours come as South Africa seek inspiration from elsewhere.

Business / Re: What Criteria Should One Consider Picking The Right Fintech App For A Business? by qtx(m): 3:32pm On Feb 05
Abiodunspectre:
Hello Nairalanders
With over 100 Fintech companies in Nigeria engaging in broad range of product offerings spanning from payment solutions, online banking and investments. Due to the proliferation of these Apps, It has become extremely difficult to know the right fintech platform to adopt for your business or personal use.

Some of this companies offers seemingly amazing features and others with not so impressive features. I recently stumbled on a yet to be launched Fintech App Motopay which offers an impressive features which happened to be missing in most Fintech App in the country. It will be a game changer for most buiness owners and end users.

For someone like me, who is looking for a flexible App where I can shop, pay for bills , buy airtime and aslo get cashbacks on every purchase this might just be exactly what I needed for my personal and business. Nothing beats the opportunity take control of your finances and turning everyday transactions into opportunities to earn, save, and thrive.

This brings me to the question. What are those things you look out for in a Fintech App before making it your go to App for every day usage?
How much did they pay you to market them? Your write-up is an advert. If u know, you know

Rape is a no-no. Who else reckons a tougher penalty should be dished out to rapists.

It goes without saying that, your outfit doesn't give anyone the right to rape you. It's all about the rapist's mentality, no matter what you're wearing.

So as a lady when someone gives you guff like, wear a " decent" clothe or cover your face with religious gear so as not to lure men or let them rape you, all you have to do is say, how about you teach people to control any impulse that might lead to rape!
If truly verified that they are guilty, i solicit for di.ck ampu right away. sad

My Biggest Regret Is Pushing My Husband To Move Us From Mainland To Lagos Island After Change In Financial Status - Woman

She claims her husband changed his lifestyle after they changed location and he met new friends, started clubbing, always eating out, raising his voice at her now, takes drugs, sleeping in hotels for days, etc.

What advice do you have for her?
grin
You see people doing things you u dont understand , u want to do too. Mainland people are poor miserable people, lets move to the island where we will be respected. hmmmm. Pele. We are not always grateful with what God has given us. Well, it is too late because you pushed the innocent man to go mix up with those who do bad things and took over him. Pray to God to forgive you and restore him. At it is, only poverty can bring him back to you and your children. And i know you wont want to be poor again.
