I have been on nairaland for about a decade or more now, I noticed the branding hasn't really improved , I know you are trying to maintain some identity which is good, but trying to innovate with reference to ux,ui will be fine too

Secondly, are you aware of how similar social media platforms have become creative about letting content creators and in some cases visitors earn a fraction from their efforts posting on platforms? In my opinion, if any competitor happens to identify this kind of service you are currently offering and add any feature that will allow creators and possibly visitors to earn no matter how small, nairaland may start looking unappealing. Let me know if I am getting something wrong. But those are my thoughts.

I didn't think of that before. But I don't think communication is reverting to being physical as it used to be previously.

I think communication generally is reducing. More people are withdrawing into their shells and don't waste their communication anyhow. People now only communicate when is absolutely necessary.

So I don't think it's only online but physically too!

I guess many people like you are yet to come to terms with the fact that the evolution of tech has gotten to a point humans prefer these days to stay glued to communicating with machines automated by pieces of codes than humans. Even contents creation are geared towards holding attention of users down for hours part of the reasons, physical social interaction is diminishing by the day. Haven't you noticed that when you are in the banking hall these days in the midst of many customers waiting to be served , you hardly hear any voice rather almost every one holds a gadget staring directly and interacting with it? It's a disturbing development the world over. Gone were the days where in Such a hall you hear noise as people discuss and interact. So it is these days.

The minister is a staff of the country and has security detail attached to him to deal with unexpected scenarios like this and they did what they were supposed to do. Did you hear the minister refuting sowore's accusation against him? Sowore is right. Let's leave emotions and think straight. Umahi should have looked for a more civil approach to resolve the matter. The woman is not crazy to raise such an allegation against umahi after all

They reportedly positioned themselves along the route where the bishop would pass before his morning service, waiting for an opportunity to speak with him.

When the cleric eventually arrived, the man said he and his mother rushed forward to plead for help but were stopped by security personnel.

He claimed that the bishop responded by advising them to apply for a bursary from the Lagos State Government instead.

The response, he said, left him devastated, considering the emotional and physical effort it took to gain admission after several attempts.

The nurse admitted that the incident affected him deeply and almost caused him to question his faith in God. However, he later came to the realization that religious leaders are human and that faith should be centered on God rather than individuals.

He emphasized that leaving church because of a pastor’s action would mean one’s faith was misplaced.

Despite the disappointment, he eventually completed his nursing education without financial assistance from the cleric and now works abroad as a nurse.

Reflecting on his journey, he said the experience strengthened his belief that personal faith and determination are more important than reliance on any religious figure.

Imagine there is no network in Obi's polling unit, will they be happy if the results of the votes are not counted just because the e-transmission is not possible? If there is practically no network then let the votes be excluded, it happens in most elections where if certain conditions are not met some votes are excluded. In any case won't it be absolutely insignificant to have a few locations without internet completely? How do bandits make calls from caves and koverns yet communities where humans live don't have network to upload just results?
