Politics › Re: Why I Stopped Supporting Obi, Ex-Obidient Wearing Tinubu’s Cap At Vanguard Award by QuantAnalyst: 10:17am On Apr 27 |
AMINDA: Tinubu didn't get any votes in the Southeast, neither did he win the Christian majority votes in the Middlebelt but he's president today because the Muslim majority votes in the North made him so with 5.6m votes. Atiku need not win the Southeast in a landslide to become president. He only needs the 25% spread to become president at first ballot because he's set to get the majority votes in 2027. Believe it or not. How is he going to get the 25% spread in south east? Obi might clear SE with 75%. All the SE governors are with Tinubu, which means 25% is sure for Tinubu in SE. I am still trying to figure out Atiku's path to victory. |

Embarrassment KO, Amalarasment ni 🙄
If na me the kin push I go give the girl eh, she go fly comot from my face. What nonsense. 😡
He should have sent a clear, unmistakable message: I DO NOT AND WILL NEVER CONDONE SUCH BEHAVIOUR. Instead was smiling sheepishly
The twerking itself was shamefully bad enough, but to start rubbing against the mans groin??!!! HABA MANA
imagine the man's family watching this, or worse still the parents of the child!!
By conceding to this absolutely inappropriate behaviour in PUBLIC with minor, it raised uncomfortable questions: perhaps more could be happening behind close doors. . . Pushing a minor would land the man in jail faster than smiling. The best solution would have been to stop the girl from dancing and order her back to the stand. Reprimand her later and discuss with her parent. |

Infact, it'll take the president some big guts to curtail the abuse from his own end and that of the legislature. I am telling you. "Reality is often dissapointing" Systemic corruption is not a joke. I pity him. |

Image123: The only thing hard for Bwala in the interview was defending himself. He handled every other aspect well. Even his self defense was good, but Mehdi kept going back to it the whole interview, which was actually interesting and funny. Bless you! Nigerians love drama. Lol The interview was not that bad. He was made to eat his own words and he also goofed on his response to insecurity. A bit dissapointed that he did not prepare to defend his past. Asides from the aforementioned, he did okay. |

kettykin: I have people in PWC who have reached that partnership level. Most moved to oil companies after consulting for them. This is about being the CFO of a whole country like Nigeria. The scope is wider and bigger.
I have seen weak and inexperienced CFOs run entire companies aground through reckless reliance on unnecessary syndicated loans. If Nigeria were structured like a corporation, AMCON would have long taken over I understand your point now. The fellow is an expert in tax, but may not do well with other macroeconomic policy? |
Politics › Re: Tinubu Appoints Taiwo Oyedele As Minister Of State For Finance by QuantAnalyst: 1:20pm On Mar 05 |
kettykin: I remember the other gentleman who passed through LBS; he served on the economic advisory team to the same administration of Muhammadu Buhari that critics now accuse of running Nigeria’s net foreign reserves down to about $3.5 billion. Interestingly, the current Minister of State was hardly visible on the national economic or financial radar until quite recently. What makes the story even more striking is that someone mentioned here that he was conducting ICAN tutorials under him as recently as 2021. It is remarkable how, within barely five years, an ICAN tutor could ascend to the office of Minister of State.
Nigeria is just the funniest Country ever , i cant stop laughing at naivety and gullibility of Nigerians Hmm. Some people are passionate about teaching. Being an ICAN tutor or any form of teaching could just be his passion. The fellow has been with PWC for 22 years! Last i checked he was "Fiscal Policy Partner and Africa Tax Leader at PwC" If you are a professional then you must know that it is not an easy feat to be a partner in a firm like PWC. Of course it does not translate to efficiency or performance as a minister, but give respect when it is due. The man has paid his due and deserves a chance. |

These people have zero respect for you black women
9 out of 10 white men that hunt for African girls are the losers and rejects that have given up on white girls and then turn to African girls because they know they can always get any black African girl easily without sweat. Then some of them get married and the black African girl would turn to social media to be broadcasting her marriage thinking she’s made it in life… it’s like a bragging right for them. But check their marriage, offline, they are more than pathetic… na woman go dey work dey feed the lazy white man and the kids..
You don’t see responsible and successful white guys coming down to Africa to hunt for girls…they go for their own white girls in their country Is it the same for the white female and black guys? |

Delat521: They are not coming out against us as they do today. They are more defending conscious with us than they do with Senegal.
If they come out seriously like this against us, we would have wipe them silly. They always backtracked and choke their mid field whenever we had balls to prevent us from attacking because that's where we orchestrated many of goal courtesy of Iwobi.
I pray Senegal win this match, Moroccanare not rock solid as really champ just being favoured by home and referee advantage I thought so too. It's like they were more afraid of SE attackers and midfielders. |

Education › Re: My First-semester Review Of The MBA Program At Ahmadu Bello University (distance by QuantAnalyst: 4:06pm On Jan 08 |
pook: I learnt the hard way. First and second semester I took so many permissions at work, sometimes during break at work I'll tell someone to cover for me to attend a 2-hour class etc. Laters colleagues started sabotaging and pushed an issue that arise on me to make my absence obvious (office politics).
At school, classmate thinks am working, making things uneasy to prove a point about them having to resign so you must resign to have a smooth ride. Things go on in school in the absence of which they won't include you (you lose marks).
At home. I was trying to pay rent, pay school fees, satisfy family members, plan a way to eat well as work demands food and if I skip a meal for just 3 days I'll be lean because I work in a chemical company, so many hazards, jumping transport, (trekking / trekking etc) ... Gosh, my nightmare..
Personally, I started befriending a lady just to get info on what was happening in class. You ask me if I'm in love? I wasn't even interested in any relationship but that is just what I have to do. If I ask other classmates about class, they will either lie or say nothing is happening that is significant to my grade (big lie, these people are setting me up to fail, so many assignments to turn in). My girlfriend gives me all the info.
I survived the first and second semesters. In the third semester my Supervisor wants me in school all day, you in the lab or not in the lab. She doesn't care if you are working or not. Later it dawned on me that if I don't comply she will fail me for the seminar and project.
Meanwhile, at work, they are going to shortlist people for sacking to reduce production cost and my name keeps appearing due to permissions and complaints.
The white man sacked me and gave me the option to resign voluntarily instead of sacking me. I chose resign.
Thank God I have saved enough. Such a sad one 😞 Did you get a better job after the MBA? |

That's why I still think Messi is underrated. He's pre assisted himself to score goals more than any players in history and that side of him is highly overlooked. Exactly. Play making for me is a very important something 😀 I love it more than goals sometimes. That's why Messi is my all time GOAT. Mhen see that assist against Netherlands in the last world cup. Wallade: What did Natasha speak up - lies, propagandas and embarrassing assertions. A woman that throws sexual harassment allegations at just about any man around that she wants to attack.
There is little or nothing hidden about Yahaya Bello. He is aa accused that is being tried in the court of law by EFCC.
However, your electoral law doesn't stop accused persons from contesting elections. If his party presents him for election and his people vote him into office as a senator, who am I to say no to him. I am not EFCC or the court that is prosecuting him. I am also not in anyway advocating for Yahaya Bello.
Stop fooling yourself, Natasha's allegations were investigated and found baseless, malicious and embarrassing. It was calculated to assassinate the character of most of the persons that she accused, particularly the Senate President. She went as far as to ridicule the image of Nigeria even at International Parliamentary Functions. You can remain deluded if you wish but I have never been fooled by her shenanigans.
Yes, history will judge all of us, especially the like of Natasha Apoti Uduaghan. Hi 👋 Don't waste your breath on those lots. Anyone that thinks that Natasha will be allowed to return to the Senate after all her drama is either deluded or politically naive. She embarrassed the revered chamber and brought disgrace to the country. It's not Bello that they want but rather it's Natasha that they do not want. In other words; it's anyone else but Natasha. Kobojunkie: 1. Don't lie to her! If he was able to find comfort in another woman barely weeks into the separation, it means the man was ready to move on at that point. (Yes, the child may be 9-years-old now, but he was conceived 9 years and 9 months ago meaning it was only weeks after the separation that the father sort solace in the arms of this other woman.) 🥱🥱
2. Again, stop lying to her. He kept it a secret to cover for his actions. It has nothing to do with love. Love does not hide things or keep secrets. His actions were for the benefit of him and his ego at the time. 🥱🥱
3. It may not be a sign of cowardice, but it may certainly be to finally clear his own conscience, also an act of cowardice. A better word would be selfishness but hey! 🥱🥱🥱
4. Of course not, given he is after all a Nigerian and his parents or people are probably aware of the boy's existence. 🥱🥱🥱
5. Try to be less conceited in your reasoning next time. 🥱🥱🥱 🙌 |

I feel you are being a little harsh on your father. This is just my personal opinion, and please don’t hate me for it.
I believe your father still loves your mother. When they separated, he may have found comfort in the arms of a Nigerian lady. It could honestly have been anyone. Men can be vulnerable too, not only women. It’s possible he was taken advantage of emotionally, and that the pregnancy happened in a way he didn’t fully intend or want.
I think he kept this a secret because he still loves your mother and didn’t want to jeopardize any chance of reconciliation. Carrying such a secret for so long must have weighed heavily on him, and that may be why he has finally come clean.
Telling you all now is not a sign of cowardice. I see it as a sign of deep embarrassment and regret for letting you, your siblings, and your mother down.
When he said he doesn’t have affection for the boy, I don’t believe that’s entirely true. I think what he meant was that he has no affection for the boy’s mother, not the child himself.
Again, this is just what I think. I could be wrong, but this is how it feels to me. Please don’t take this the wrong way as it comes from a place of understanding, not judgment. |
