Tinubu as an emeritus career politician himself understands the psychology of career politicians. Someone who understands the political terrain deeply might be more difficult to control or manage..

He only wants a yesman already programmed by virtue of his academic background in the art of following instructions to the letter and not an astute politician who might be working covertly for the North.

I am not a fan of Tinubu but even his political enemies know him as one of the most calculative politicians alive. He doesn't take a step without a deeply calculated political motive that would benefit him in the long run.

This is one of the reasons he usually goes out of his way to ensure he never picks an El-Rufai, Wike, Saraki or Aregbesola personality whenever it is time to pick the next Lagos governor since he left office in 1999. If he had made such an unforgivable political error in judgement, he would have lost control of Lagos a long time ago.

It is not a coincidence that he is the only 1999 governor still controlling his "kingdom" since the return to the present civil rule 26 years ago. So picking this relatively unknown and inexperienced politician is all part of a well-planned political chess move by Tinubu.

The only thing is, if Tinubu was more interested in developing Nigeria the way he is in the art of politicking, Nigeria would have been one of the best places on earth.

You seem to have a thorough understanding of Tinubu's political strategies. I believe you must really understand the game or highly intuitive.

Everything you stated here is 💯 correct.

Your last sentence is Tinubu's only weakness. Baba will trade good governance for politics any day anytime.

Honestly I can see that Nigerians have lost their sanity especially those on Nairaland. Just come to think of it, Tinubu is out of government does it change anything, will Atiku or Obi reversed the pump price and pay subsidy and reduce state allocations, will they give naira muscle to fight dollars, will they increase our external reserves, will they stop banditry and insurgent, we dey revamp the economy on 4 years to attract foreign direct investments.

They caught you cheating during exam in your 100level... your expulsion might come in your 300 level or final year. This is after you must have forgotten the offense you committed two or three years ago. Nothing like suspension or carry over oh. Nah complete expulsion.

The general is 100% right on this occasion. Farms or farmers aren't moving around. Herdsmen and their cows are the problem here. Tinubu needs to take a stand. People are dying! Senate and house of reps need to come in as well.

I was thinking about that the whole time I spent reading through posts.

I think the man in question has character flaw. I could deduce here that he doesn't regard people. A form of superiority complex. I've watched him a few times, and I always knew that something is wrong somewhere.

No one is perfect, but with his exposure and status he needs to be better than this as he will always be scrutinised.

I really dislike these folks a lot. All of them! They are everything wrong with the world.

obviously, you lack knowledge on how things work, but I'll try to cure some of it.

1. I agree that they should have kept quiet because Obi has always shown his ignnorrance and slowness by talking before researching.
2. A. If you must study abroad as a Nigerian, it's absolutely impossible without a WAEC. B. Foreigners study here without JAMB too, just WAEC. They are littered in our universities. (P.S. you prolly didn't pass WAEC so bereft on the idea of its importance).
3. You're the only one not thinking, alonside your crass ignnorannce. Every country has its regulating bodies for examination and there are exams you must be in the country to do, e.g. USMLE III. One of the inefficacy or laxity in exam regulations is why you see UK lamenting of the frauud in Nursing exams on FP the other day.
4. JAMB might have been too difficult for you to pass because you sound far from a brillllliannt human, but it's definitely not frrauud. It's the only pre-university exam, indeed, in Nigeria that's not aduultterated. Na either your braaiin or luck. Unlike WAEC, JAMB has no special centres, so ollooddos like you have to study hard, lest you prefer to keep lamennting.
5. Nigeria isn't wastting youth. That's a liiee.
6. The best way to strengthen our pre-university education system must always include strengthening JAMB with more exam centres, so students don't have to travel too far.

So Paul, think and research before talking online, not everyone is as shortssighhted, man.
