Following up on the their wave-making new song, “Water & Fire“, Big Brother Naija Runner-Up, Bisola Aiyeola and ex-Project Fame West Africa winner, Jeff Akoh have released visuals for the new tune.

The video was shot and directed by talented cinematographer, The Opal Eye.

The song is released by newly established Temple Music, a sister firm of leading creative talent agency, Temple Management Company (TMC).

Water And Fire is a teaser to Jeff Akoh’s highly anticipated album titled “Lokoja” which will be released worldwide on October 27th.

Bisola is also scheduled to release her body of work in the first quarter of 2018.

This is so touching.
Koredo Bello visited the Abeokuta juvenile prison yesterday.
He wrote:

I was privileged to be a part of a charity event that involved going to a Juvenile prison yesterday. I was flooded with so much emotion that I couldn’t even speak.
I thought of the things each of them had done and couldn’t understand why they still had to end up where they were (but one cannot always justify nor know these things) and as the talks went on; my pains began to turn to smiles.

I imagined a pensive night sky I had taken the time to share the moment with but all it had to offer was a dark canopy hiding something; but I still sat and listened to my heartbeat and the gift of silence all around me.
As I got lost in myself I looked up again and saw a star glimpse at me, and then another and yet another and for each of these givings my heart was filled with something more.
That was how I felt when I looked at the kids and saw an awkard nod here, a sigh there and a crooked smile from another, and those became the stars that made all the difference in the night sky of the juvenile prison that finally cleared.

Each of those stars will become much more than they ever thought they would, just because strangers like you and I take the time to leave something in them.
So please share something positive today, a smile, a hug, a nod or just an acknowledgement of another; you never know the fire you may stir up in a tired soul or who’s dark sky you may clear

Beninese-American actor and Oxfam global ambassador, Djimon Hounsou, is currently in North East Nigeria visiting victims of Boko Haram violence.
The actor who arrived Lagos, Nigeria on December 4, 2016 was at the IDP camp Maiduguri listening to their stories and draw the attention of the world to their struggles.
The actor popular for his role in the movie "Blood Diamond " wrote on Instagram alongside a photo with Mohammed, " In #Maiduguri in North East #Nigeria, I spent time with Mohammed at the home he shares with his mother, sister, wife and their five children. Mohammed was a farmer and trader, and used to cycle to Maiduguri to trade.
Because of this, he was suspected by Boko Haram of being an informant. He was kidnapped and beaten. He was eventually released, and fled to Maiduguri, where he was reunited with his family. They now live in terrible conditions.
Mohammed’s story is shocking, but he is not alone. Almost 2 million people have been forced to flee their homes because of the conflict in Nigeria alone, searching for safety for themselves and their families.
Millions more are also affected by this crisis in the rest of the Lake Chad Region- in Niger, Cameroon and Chad. I’m here to listen to their stories with @Oxfaminternational and to shine a spotlight on this unknown crisis. #Team234 Photo credit @tomsaater / Oxfam. "
