Just heard the sad news for the death of my Niece Hauwa (Adama), she died as a result of a Motor Accident along Kumo-Gombe Road, together with 5 of her Friends and the Driver, all 7 of them are dead. She has since been buried according to Islamic conjunction. May their soul rest in Allah’s Rahma. Ameen”

Popular Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe Gentry, had a brush with men of the Osun State police command around 4.30pm today. She & her driver were arrested at Olaiya junction in Osogbo, the Osun State capital for allegedly displaying a police cap on her car’s dash board, attracting the police attention. Another report claims it was because her driver was using the phone while driving.
According to multiple reports, when she was stopped, she was ordered to step out of her car so her vehicle could be searched. Her presence reportedly attracted a large crowd who gathered and wanted to know why she was being arrested. A visibly angry Mercy was seen making calls on her phone which was later seized, according to a report by Vanguard
When the crowd became too much, the policemen fired several gunshots in the air and whisked Mercy and her driver away. Her driver was taken away in a police van while another police officer was said to have driven Mercy in her Honda car.
Confirming the incident, an Assistant Police Public Relations Officer, Ajibade Egbedele, said, it was just a minor traffic issue and that the matter has been settled.

Members of the EMPD Tracing Unit arrested a Nigerian man in Kempton Park, South Africa, found in possession of R300,000 worth of drug cat, on Thursday April 21.
The 46-year-old Nigerian man was found packaging the drugs in his room at Aston Place flats in Kempton Park in Ekurhuleni. According to EMPD spokesman Chief Superintendent Wilfred Kgasago, they had acted on a tip- off.
“We received reliable information about a drug dealer operating from a flat in Long Street. The EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit acted on that information. It resulted in the arrest of a man found in possession of the drug cat estimated to be worth about R300 000 on the streets.” Kgasago added that this was part of the EMPD operation called Bumper to Bumper.
“Surveillance of the suspect was carried out over a period of three days. The opportune time to pounce on the drug dealer presented itself on Thursday. The man was found in his room unpacking a huge quantity of the illicit substance that was mostly in block form,” said Kgasago
The Nigerian man was arrested and charged with dealing in illicit substances and is expected to appear in the Kempton Park Magistrates Court soon.

Despite Wizkid coming all out to lowkey discard all the news about him welcoming a son with US based Guinean lady, Binta, she really seems not to be bothered about the whole thing and has continued to share photos of her son she allegedly has with the superstar.
She shared this photo with her son and captioned it ‘My
Ayo ’.
Binta who spoke exclusively to TheShadeRoom yesterday opened up on how Wizkid hasn’t stepped up to the plate since she gave birth.
According to her, Wizkid had earlier promised to be in the baby’s life when she told him she was pregnant but since she gave birth he hasn’t seen the baby.
Binta, who is currently based in Atlanta, revealed that she wants his behavior towards his child to change. Binta says that she just wants him to step up and be a man about his responsibilities.
