However, he has had an epiphany and now believes that a God, ultimate designer of all things exists and is very much alive. Yesterday the actor took to social media to reveal that the realization of God's existence just hit him. According to him, after staring at the sky the night before, he had an epiphany and figured out that God truly exists. He said: "Lord God I have never spoken to you. But now I want to say...how do you do? You see God, they told me you didn't exist and like a fool I believed all this. Last night from standing outside, I saw your sky and I figured right then they had told me a lie. "Had I taken time to see the things you made I’d have known they weren't calling a spade a spade. I wonder God if you'll take my hand. Somehow I feel that U'd understand. Funny I had to come to this hellish place before I had time to see your face. "Well I guess there isn't much more to say but I'm sure glad God I met you today. Like the zero hour will soon be here but I'm not afraid since I know you are near. The signal... well...God I'll have to go. I like you lots I want you to know. Looks like this will be a horrible fight who knows, I may come to your house tonight. "Though I wasn't friendly to you before I wonder God if U'll wait at your door. Look I'm crying, I'm shedding tears I’ll have to go now God, goodbye.... Strange...now, since I met you, I'm not afraid to die . #LEADERSHIP." lalasticlala Source: http://www.timenaija.com/majid-michel-reveals-he-saw-god-now-beli.xhtml |

The accused, identified as Igwe Festus Abraham was arrested in Delhi on Tuesday, May 24 and brought to Pune on Wednesday. He has been remanded in police custody till May 31, the police said. The investigation was initiated by the cyber cell of Pune Police after a woman registered a complaint of losing Rs 16.18 lakh to cheaters in January this year, deputy commissioner of police (cyber and economic offence wing) Deepak Sakore said. "The woman received a mail in September 2015, informing her that she has won a lottery worth Rs 4.92 crore. She provided her bank and other details as asked in the mail," the DCP said. "The accused then called up the woman and asked her to deposit money from time to time under the pretext of various taxes and fees," Sakore added. The accused met her at a hotel in Pune and gave a bag, telling her that it contained US dollars and even took out four notes from the bundle. He applied some chemical on the notes to show its genuineness. "He told her that since the chemical was over, he will have to procure it from the UK, so that remaining notes can be analysed. He then left by handing over the suitcase to the woman," Sakore said. The woman took the notes to the foreign exchange, where she came to know that the suitcase contained plain papers, the officer said, adding, "After realising that she has been duped, the woman lodged a police complaint. We successfully tracked the accused and arrested him in New Delhi," said Sunil Pawar, an Inspector with Cyber cell. During investigation, police came to know that the accused has duped around 100 people across the country and got Rs 3 crore deposited to his various bank accounts. lalasticlala Source: http://www.timenaija.com/photo-nigerian-man-arrested-in-india-for.xhtml |

Below is a report from CrossRiverWatch "The station and barracks located opposite the local government council secretariat along Ranch road has been operational since 1979 and has since remained so without structural rehabilitation sources say. Pictures taken with the help of spy midgets by this reporter, as he was not allowed to use his camera, show the inhabitable conditions the men expected to maintain law and order reside and operate in with very archaic tools to work with. In the barracks, some roofing sheets have rusted with some caving in while the nettings on the windows have given way for mosquito nets with the fetcher board becoming food for termites and wood insects over the years. lso, further findings reveal there is no computer in the station and the only functional typewriter the division has is located in the DPO’s office and was donated by the Venatius Ikem administration when he was LG Chairman under the then ruling Social Democratic Party (SDP) and has remained the only facility for typing documents in the station. The walls of the offices are already revealing the mud that was used in constructing the barracks apartments as the cement coating is gradually giving way. A few policemen who spoke to this reporter in low tones complained bitterly about their situation and prayed the governor who hails from the local government area and other relevant authorities to look into their plight as it was not fit for human habitation. Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has warned that there could be reprisal attacks on Fulani herdsmen in the State if they do not desist from invading communities in Ekiti and attacking the people, describing the Fulani herdsmen that invaded Oke Ako in Ikole local government area of the State on Friday, killing two residents of the town and injuring others as “agents of the devil that must be fished out and punished accordingly.” Governor Fayose, who commiserated with the people of Oke-Ako, especially the family of the deceased, vowed to do everything humanly possible to forestall the reoccurrence of such attack and safeguard the lives of Ekiti people. According to a statement issued by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, Governor Fayose said the Fulani herdsmen were becoming major threat to the unity of Nigeria and its people, saying; “I will not fold my hands while armed herdsmen invade communities in Ekiti, killing people and destroying farmlands at will as they have done in other States. “I have directed the police and other security agencies in the State to fish out the killer herdsmen. I am in constant touch with the security agencies and I hope that the killer herdsmen will be fished out wherever they are and made to face the full wrath of the law. “The people of Oke-Ako should therefore remain calm while the security agents do their job. However, the security agents must be mindful of the fact that the people’s patience has a limit and they must therefore act promptly and decisively.” The governor, who described activities of the Fulani Herdsmen as inimical to the revival of agriculture in the country said; “Farmlands costing billions of naira have been destroyed in States in the South-West, South-East and North-Central zones of the country. One wonders how Nigerians can go back to farming when those already in the farms are losing billions of naira worth of crops to destruction of their farmlands by the Fulani Herdsmen and the Federal Government is not doing anything about it.” He said; “I am sounding a note of warning to the Fulani herdsmen and those who can talk to them should also do so now. If they continue with these wanton attacks, killing of the people and destruction of farmlands in Ekiti, I cannot guarantee that there won’t be reprisal attacks. “I can also not guarantee the level that the reprisal attacks can get to because as a governor, it is my responsibility to defend and protect my people.” He called on President Mohammadu Buhari to stop paying lips service to the Fulani herdsmen's menace, saying "as patron of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), President Buhari has the capacity to call the herdsmen to order. “President Buhari should therefore call his people to order because this is Ekiti; our people have the rights to defend themselves. “Most importantly, President Buhari must be reminded of how he was so concerned about the killing of Fulani herdsmen in in Saki, Oke Ogun Area of Oyo State such that he, as a private citizen led Arewa to Ibadan on October 13, 2000, to confront the then Governor of Oyo State, late Alhaji Lam Adesina.” lalasticlala Source: http://www.timenaija.com/we-will-protect-our-people-fayose-warns.xhtml |

https://timenaija.com/i/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/index-68.jpg cc: lalasticlala A Nigerian national was on April 5th given 24 hours to leave the Guyana (a sovereign state on the northern mainland of South America) after he was reprimanded for illegally entering from Brazil. Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan ordered Immanuel Dennis-Derry who lives in Sao Paulo, Brazil, to leave Guyana after he pleaded guilty to a charge of illegal entry. The city court heard that on March 27, at Lethem, Rupununi, Dennis-Derry, a trader, entered Guyana without presenting himself to an immigration officer. Police Prosecutor Neville Jeffers told the court that 24-year-old Dennis-Derry, although a Nigerian national, acquired citizenship in Brazil, where he is currently living. On March 27, Dennis-Derry came to Guyana in a vehicle and did not present himself to the nearest immigration officer, the prosecutor added. Jeffers also told the court that Dennis-Derry was arrested in New Amsterdam, Berbice, where the police checked his passport and noticed that he hadn’t presented himself to an immigration officer. Dennis-Derry was subsequently reprimanded and discharged by the Chief Magistrate, who gave him 24 hours to leave Guyana and go back to Brazil Source: http://timenaija.com/i/2016/05/03/photo-nigerian-man-ordered-out-of-republic-of-guyana-for-illegal-entry/ |
