Firstly, I could have brought this up on whatsap but I don't want it to seem like it was initiated here and I went all the way behind to contribute.

I understand the basis of your assessment, using May and all. I know she is humble, sweet, calm, not rude and all, but you need to acknowledge the male factor here. Most ladies are what they are because of what the men in their lives have turned them into.
I don't have issues with the slay queens as you put it, as we have them so we have slay kings or better still gigolos. But tagging the offshoot as feminist is a bit off.
Take May for instance, the way she paints her man. A man who doesn't stress her nor impose those African masculine mentality on her nor limit her to the kitchen as most dusty men do, despite that he earns three times of what she earns (as she put it herself) means the man is doing the right thing.
You don't expect ladies like that to not bring out their best.
It's a GAGO kinda thing, you get the exact or more of what you put in. Treat her like trash and watch her turn you to LAWMA, treat her like a queen and watch her build a long lasting empire with you.
When next you are taking your time to analyze these ladies, endeavor not to rule out how much demons these dusty Nigerian men have become.

The male factors should not be overemphasized but I think most ladies need a total mental revamping. I have always detested the slay queen tags regardless of whatever meaning is made out of it. And again, feminism has been misconstrued. A lot of people do not get the meaning of it anymore, I am a lady king, a feminist but I won't be caught dead fighting for equality with my husband or any man.
Feminism is a push for the betterment of women, to stop them from being treated as second class fiddles not war against men nor a movement meant to challenge their values. It differs individually tho.

The best thing is to be sensible, make your own money and know to do the right thing while also lessening or totally abolishing toxicity towards your partner humanity.
The reason anyone thinks slayqueens only steal from men is the poverty factor. There is a level of independence you attain that no man born of a woman can shame you even when you ask them (male partner) for money.
Most of these lowlives called slay queens rubbishing their own names do not even get more than fare and money for recharge cards. Whereas some other ladies are receiving gifts of 200,300,400k from their men, yet people take it as being romantic.
Laz laz, if you are with the right man, you can choose to be a slay queen, a feminist or be indifferent about the both and still be appreciated and loved.
Make your own money and be independent and watch how rules will be broken for you.
Golddigging a man or Manning a man would not even matter when you both understand each other.
But I repeat, a woman stands to gain and enjoy a lot when she makes her own money.

She is a total break from the usual Nigerian ladies we are used to. Take Poco for instance, she seems to be okay financially but she is on every thread fighting and insulting guys for reasons I am not intereted in.
A Nigerian lady is either a slay queen or a feminist. She either tries to steal from you or she makes her own money and she is trying to 'man' you. Seeing a lady who drives a good car, living a good life, touching lives and still manage to act normal, is the rearest combination ever.
She doesn't get involved in the usual Nairaland banters, I can imagine how peaceful she is in real life. Her reaction to the woman she said slapped her in her former diary was another eye opener.
I respect and love everything about her, she is funny, intelligent and passionate about her interests too. Not to talk about the rough beginning she underwent as a baby, I am the happiest everything is working for her good.
