SMALL SISTER NAIJA: Alleviating The Poverty of INSECURITY OF HUMAN LIVES AND PROPERTIES IN NIGERIA:

It Has Become Our Collective Responsibility To Contribute To The ALLEVIATION of The POVERTY of INSECURITY OF HUMAN LIVES AND PROPERTIES IN NIGERIA.

Following The High Rate of Inflation in Nigeria Which Has Tripled The Economic Hardship of Citizens, Alot of Nigerian Youths (Who Lack Financial Education, Opportunities And The Good Conscience To Work And Provide Goods And Services To Humanity) Have Continued To Cause Havoc in One Way or The Other To The Good Citizens of Nigeria.

Some Youths With Evil Conscience Have Decided That "Kidnapping" Should Be The Way Forward For Them.

Badly; The Level of Kidnapping, Armed Robberies And Vehicle Hijacking Has Increased Drastically in Lesser Than 3 Months. You Can Read Up NEWS on The Crime Section of Nairaland To Ascertain This.

However; Ours is Not To Complain About The Insecurity Decay Presently Plaguing Nigeria.

These Atrocities Have Always Been Happening Around Us Since Year 1960. However; We Have Failed To Declare And Work Towards The Right Societal Solutions That Should Reduce These Societal ILLS Amongst Us.

Hence;

This Sensitization Solutional Thread Has Been Created To Bring About The Absolute Workable Societal Solutions That We Can Implore To Bring A Lasting End To The Poverty of INSECURITY OF HUMAN LIVES AND PROPERTIES IN NIGERIA.

You Are All Welcome Onboard To Bring Forth Your Solutions As We Intend To Document Them And Get Them Activated Through The National Bodies That Matter in The Country.

Best Regards.

mrvitalis:
You don't grow an economy by producing to feed yourself.. Or reducing import

You grow economy by increasing export

Agriculture can't do anything for Nigeria, there is little it can do

Garment industry alone can employ more people( middle class) than agriculture

Agriculture is primitive mindset
Your Point About Growing The Export of A Country Over The Import is Somewhat Right.

However;

What does Nigeria have to export if not Agricultural Produces ?

You are very wrong to claim that Agriculture is Primitive. This Wrong Mentality of Yours is The Reason Your Leaders Are Not Investing Rightly in Agriculture.

And You Already See The Result.

When You Talk About Garment Industry Doing Better To Improve Peoples Life Than Agriculture Would Do; You Are ONLY Shooting Yourself on Your Feet Because The So-called Garment Industries Are Integral Niche of The Clothing Aspect of Agriculture.

Agriculture Encompasses "Food, Clothing and Shelter".

So, Your Point Here About Agriculture Being A Primitive Mindset is ILL.

Don't You Eat Everyday ?

So, If You Have Improved Agricultural Productions in Nigeria Bringing About Cheap Food Items, Will You Consider This As A Primitive Solution?

Please,
Before You Try To Defend Your Wrong Assertions, Read My Responses With An Open Mind.

A Better Agricultural System For Nigeria is The Ultimate Way Forward.

All Developed Countries in The World Are Countries Whose Agricultural Systems Are Well Developed.

*SPIRITUALITY is having a PERSONAL relationship with someone in the spirit realm.

*RELIGIOSITY is having something to do with your neighbours who feels like worshiping something or someone.

So when a spiritual person is asking questions so as to know better about the spirit he or she wants to go into a relationship with the religious person is just following where the crowd goes! smiley

SMALL SISTER NAIJA (SSN): Alleviating The Poverty of Hunger And Starvation In Nigeria:

We Need No Sooth-Sayer To Tell Us That The MOST WRECKLESS PROBLEM Plaguing Nigeria is The UNDER-UTILIZATION of Our Arable Land Resources And Human Resources To Always Provide Adequate And Affordable Foods Easily To Nigerians.

"An Hungry Man Will Always Remain An Angry Man."

It Remains A Sad Reality That Many Nigerian Families Barely Feed Themselves Adequately on A Daily Basis Simply Because They Cannot Afford The Quality And Quantity of Food That They Crave For.

The Lack of Adequate Well Paying Jobs is A Huge Barrier To The Inadequacies of Many People Eating Well in The Country.

Many Nigerians Have To Run And Work HELTER SKELTER For Enslaving Contract Jobs Inorder To Be Able To Put Food On The Table For Themselves And Their Families.

Kenochi:
I have always believed that the biggest problem we face is not hunger, poverty or economic issues but our leaders being not innovative or finding creative ways to solve our problems
I strongly believe that until the Local Governments become economic drivers of the Economy, we are just going round in circles
This report clearly justifies what some of us have believed, that the country is not producing enough food fo the populace and commercial use
I suggested on a previous thread that the 774 local governments should be encouraged to own Farm settlements operated or either by lease to small scale farmers or private corporations
The states should provide logistics to evacuate the farm products, infrastructure and Security for this settlements
The Federal Government will create Silos in each Senatorial Districts and will be a buyer of last resort to this farmers

Imagine if each local government took up crops which can thrive in their locality and get the people back to work,it will be a matter of time before we create Wealth across the Land
This type of wealth is sustainable because it is from bottom to the top and not the other way round
The Local Governments will be encouraged to compete against themselves and the best Agricultural friendly LGA will be given awards and Cash grants
I believe that in every problems, there are workable solutions but it seems in Nigeria we have a way of turning simple problems into hard mountains of solutions that can never be resolved
Liked, Shared And Followed.
