Are you not on the NARROW path? Matthew 7:13-14 smiley
Actually NARROW is followed by MINDED but the bot baned me when I wrote that. So that's your description not just narrow!
Romance › Re: What Is Going On Between Me And This Gorgeous Lady? by QuinQQ(f): 2:09am On Jan 16
Rhymesy:
A lady returned from Owerri to Uyo during the Christmas period to visit her elderly sister. I happened to come across her, and I must say, she is extremely beautiful and charming. I tried to keep things normal—both in our communication and interactions. She eventually opened up to me, revealing that she has a serious man in her life. I remained calm and continued acting as a normal friend.

At one point, I accidentally stumbled upon her phone and noticed that she is a classy lady. Since I’m not financially buoyant, I focused on maintaining a stable and respectful manner. I kept my mind on being a good friend.

One day, she started asking me some deep questions about myself. I told her I just graduated from university and am waiting for my call-up for NYSC. She said she’s actually working towards that too. She also asked if I was staying alone, and I confirmed that I was. Throughout December, she spent most of her time with me, chatting, gisting, and smiling. Sometimes, I took her out to lounges and bought her food from eateries.

Yesterday, she confessed that she enjoys hanging around me. Today, she insisted that most people know where I stay. Initially, I felt reluctant to bring her to my place—not because of anything suspicious, but because I didn’t want my libido to get the better of me. After some persistent urging from her, I decided to bring her over.

As a single guy who just finished school, my laptop is my television. When she entered, she said she was feeling hot and asked me to find her a polo or a light jersey to wear. I did so. She then went into the bathroom to take a shower while I was in the kitchen preparing her a meal. We enjoyed the meal together, and she complimented my cooking.

Later, she felt sleepy and fell asleep. When she woke up in the evening, she asked me to see her off. Honestly, this lady is very beautiful—so much so that my friends on the street were even hailing me.

Naijalanders, what is really going on?
You who experienced it directly don't know what's going on, but we who are told a one-sided, embellished version will know!

I will remain where no single thing comes between me and anyone here except faith: Christianity Section! smiley
And that's what marks you too narrow and limited a person to be participating in the arguments you participate in. You should just state your narrow opinion and stop. You just don't have the broad view to be arguing anything💌

MaxInDHouse:
A brother according to Jesus is someone with whom we share the same faith {Matthew 12:46-50} so if such a person did what is wrong going by the norm his fellow believer who knew about it should meet him one on one to settle it but if the offender still feels he's not wrong then two other fellow believers should be taken along so as to remind the offender what we agreed upon as norm if he still disagree then the body of congregation elders will step in but if he still disagree with the body of elders then all Christians should treat such a person the way Jews do treat a tax collector: SHUN him!🙂

They don't practice it the way we do

No vigil

Offering isnt forced

Sunday service is max 2 hrs cos people still have to go to work. Infact most of them use sunday as rest day after sat party hangover

No open preaching

You cant discuss religious matter at work, keep it to yourself
I get u. What I'm saying is, they used to be more religious than us and even then they were still rampantly committing suicide. They also have higher frequency of all sorts of mental illnesses - Psychologists are constantly overbooked.
In Nigeria if you're a Psychologist, you'll likely starve to death!😆

you still don't get it

Religion is a tool used to hide depression believing that tomorrow will be fine.

Scamming n doing evil is another topic entirely that has nothing to do with religion. Most Nigerians are fantanstically corrupt and they abuse any sector they find themselves
😆
I get your point, but they also have religion over there. It never stopped them from killing themselves historically

Wait, are you saying that people in Nigeria don't get depression, and the cure to depression is warm weather?
If this is what you are saying, you have just make ground breaking discovery that could make you a billionaire and save millions of lives. No one knew that sunshine was the cure to depression before you came along.
It's not just me saying it. For people prone to depression, it gets worse in the winter, and in places like England, they get moved to a warmer place. This lady below, whenever her depression came they moved her to a warmer, sunnier place

1. Nigerians are resilient - if not millions would have gone given the situation right now
2. Cultural taboo to die by suicide
3. Likely fake data - Who even keeps this record in Nigeria?
1. There is no proof Nigerians are more resilient than them
2. I's also taboo to die by suicide over there
3. Nigeria Keeps meticulous record of suicides. (See below) Also, the mergins are too wide to be accounted for by data

I think it is rather:
1) Their prolonged periods of sunless cold, damp weather - suicide skyrockets in winter
2) Much easier to to get trapped in debt
3) Inability to bribe your way out of embarrassing stuff

It is culture; suicide is an acceptable option there; it isn't here. We choose to carry our depression to the grave, but they choose to end the suffering.
You obviously don't get depression. There is no "choose" in depression. But a strong blast from the sun opposed to being prolongedly in a cold, damp environment can be the difference between suicide or not

Lolz. They don't do religion in abroad like we do in africa. They don't roll like that
Point is, religion has never stopped Nigerians from doing any bad thing like scamming or money rituals, why would it stop them when they get to the point of suicide??

Analyse the percentages, check the race n why they are committing suicide

Nigerians are more prone to depression but they find solace in religion. Over there, they believe ending it is the way out
You folks keep saying religion like they don't also have religion over there, and as if religion has ever kept Nigerians from money ritual, corruption or any other bad thing. If this lady below were in Nigeria, one blast from the sun and last thing in her mind would be suicide!

To better understand your question and provide a relevant response, could you please clarify the context or perspective you're approaching from? This will enable me to offer a more accurate and helpful answer.
😅 I told u I'm sure you'd just be having yourself a good laugh while typing some of this stuff!🤣
Ok, I'm a Shintoist. Now answer my own question:
What is a smart guy like you doing defending a pedophilic, extremely misogynistic, fatwa-ish religion soaked in blood since it's inception??
A very devout Muslim wrote the book "Satanic Verses" because he KNEW that's exactly what they are!

After spending time to make a response, someone who calls himself a Moderator will now unilaterally delete this post with no warning nor reason other than they dont like the post post is evil at its core!

What is a Muslim Moderator doing at the core of the Christian Section of Nairaland?
Not only that, you won't know they later deleted your post because it will first appear for some time - unless you go back and check after some time. What an INSIDIOUS and dishonest way of doing things!

Before I answer the question, which religion are you practicing?

I will not respond unless I know which side you belong.
TenQ don't mind him. He's always asking this hypocritical question. Ok, he's a Hindu. Now what?
Next, he'll bring up ancient history. Comparing apples and cars. Comparing peace-focused Christianity to a religion that has always been bloody, that has been very bloody from it's inception till today!

Ok, it seems it wasn't deleted. Not yet anyway. Let me now add this.

So Mr Jimrohn everything is kill, kill, kill. Add to that sanctioned pedophilia and total subjugation of women, and you're wondering why anyone would be in such religion. Just the thought of your 54-year-old founder skeping ith an 11-year-old child! Now, it's understandable that you were born into it and would be killed if you dare leave, but to be actually defending it?! My bros na wa for you o

6) Another absurdity. Kindly use this to justify meaningless suffering for us. Example, a baby suffers terribly then dies jimrohn

7) If you think deeply about it, free will is an illusion - a trick of the brain. There is an actual experiment that proves it. Why do you think prophecies and fortelliing future is possible when a slightly different decision by a single person can trigger chain of events resulting in different outcome.
I'm sure Judas was 100% sure the decision to betray Jesus was 100% his own and he agonized a long time before finally deciding. Yet long before he was born he was marked down to do just that and couldn't deviate from it!

The presenter accused Kenneth of betraying Peter Obi, in self defense, Kenneth claimed it was Peter Obi that betrayed him instead.

There wasn't any discussion about Peter

I don't understand WHY people like you tell blatant lies knowing fully well people can easily go and fact-check you. The interviewer said right at the beginning of the interview exactly that - that Peter Obi gave an interview insinuating KO betrayed him.

There's nothing wrong with this. If a real man of God does it for you, nobody can deny you a visa.

The truth is that humans know that ideas come to them, but they don't know what initiates or inspires such ideas.

If God wants a visa officer to approve your visa, He will give him 1001 reasons why he should, even when the applicant may not be qualified.
So isn't it YOUR faith that will do it? Why does it require "a real man of God" (you didn't include woman)
