toscotech: How can i connect this panel 6pieces While not an expert, I can tell these are obviously fake from the nameplate design. Original Jinko panels will wow you, for example in the image, my 4.6 kWp crushed the NOCT (3.5 kW) and consistently hovers around 87% - 90% STC, i.e up to 4.1kW sustained (not instantaneous) power.

kristien4: You cant do 9s2p on the growatt spf6000es. The spf6000es has a current limit of 16A each on each mppt string. The jinko 580w produces around 14amps of current, 9s2p will produce 28amps, unless you intend doing 9series on each pv input/mppt. Correct me if I'm wrong tho. I use same config as you, spf5000es with 9pieces 580w. Max voltage ive got is 431v. For the spf6000es i believe each string should be 500v 16amp each, for individual mppt. HI, yes you're correct. Had to double-check the specs. 9S per tracker is the way to go since they are independent. And in future, I could parallel more inverters as I would prefer to have multiple inverters as against one big unit; just for redundancy's sake. Thanks for your contribution. |

Hello house, good evening. Looking towards a bit of recommendation or ideas. I'm seeking to increase my setup. Currently it's
Panels: 8x 580W Jinko = 4.6kWp (On a good day i get around 4kW instantaneous, which serves good for daytime including inverter ACs usage from as early as 10am till 6pm) Batteries: 2x PylonTech 5.12kWh = 10.24kWh (Since i am grid-tied (Band A), this hardly goes below 85% DOD cycled) Inverter: Growatt SPF 5000ES.
The inverter's max input voltage is 450V which limited me to a a single string of 8x panels = 408 VOC. One extra panel would have crossed VOC with almost 10V because each is 51.02 according to specs.
I am looking to do the following: Add 1x PylonTech 5.12kWh to make total battery 15.36 kWh Change the inverter to the SPF 6000 ES Plus which supports up to 500V and 8kWp array
Doing this means I can then add 10 extra panels in a 9S2P config. VOC will go up to 459.18V and theoretical yield will be 10.4 kWp. If the panels, on a good day, can do 85% yield, that's about 8.8kwP but the inverter only supports 8k; so about 800W best case (or 1.6kW worst case) is lost to overpanelling.
Am I on the right track?, or should i consider an inverter than can support up to 10kWp array? such as the Growatt SPH 5000TL-BL-UP 5kW capable of doing 9.5kW array and up to 550VOC. Except this is 5kW and not 6kW.
At this point, isn't it better to do the SPF 6000 ES Plus since it can be paralleled and thus can do 2x (12kW power; 1000 VOC, 16kWp) assuming I will do two banks of solar input?
Thank you. |

nwirinedu: They are very slow in cooling, some take up to an hour to cool , while a regular ac will cool in 5 minutes. Difficult to repair. Only good for those with small generators Wrong info. Inverter ACs will usually have what is called Turbo or Burst Mode that ramps up the compressor and increases fan speed. In this mode, it can comfortably cool down a room in 1hr or less ( the same as a conventional unit). If you truly had one, you would know and not type this. Please let's try to get fact rights and stop dispensing beer-parlor gists |

ask4bk: How do you assure that the person you give your password can't get the password from his phone and use in other devices? (though I know you'll see the extra unknown devices from your management). Anyone that has your password can get it from his device easily. Except you are whitelisting Using SSIDs as an option; you can create one and assigned number of connected users and speed, e.g. 10 users/ 10Mbps. Whether the neighbor decides to share the password with 10 people or use it alone, the speed will never exceed 10Mbps. And the more people the neighbor shares the password with, the more his (the neighbor's) speed reduces. Owner's speed remains untouched. |

confluence: What is horrible, you don't know what you are talking about, I have some of the tenants install kodi on their system and they stream virtually all DStv channels. Each tenant can connect up to 3 device each at that speed concurrently 2Mbps * 3 devices = 6 Mbps maximum demand 6Mbps * 2 tenants = 12 Mbps maximum demand Starlink on a bad day can still deliver nothing less than 50Mbps; leaving 38Mbps for you On a good day, 150 - 300Mbps is not unusual, leaving 138Mbps - 288Mbps for you Note that data usage is unlimited. You might need to reconsider. While unlimited data at 10k/2Mbps x 3 devices per month might look good to them, there is still plenty on the table without hurting your own speed. At least 4Mbps for a start per device; maxing it at 24Mbps or 10Mbps per SSID maxing out at 20Mbps This second option is preferred and each tenant can have their own SSID and share the 10Mbps speed how they like among their devices. But if you're on the roaming plan and in Lagos; soon to be 167k; all bets are off! Good luck. |

When many of you leave, I'm sure spaces will start opening up in those areas and the residential restrictions there will clear. People will get faster Internet too. I don't think so. a residential user has to leave for a residential spot to open up If a roaming user leaves; nothing changes, residential-wise; except for another user taking up the roaming plan instead of business and at 167k; not even worth it. |

Very delicate matter considering the economy that everything went up and salaries stayed put. In my case, it used to be like 5mths, then later 3mths,. It further went down to 1mth and then ultimately 1 week and 3 days of pay. And make no mistake, the rent i speak of were in millions of naira The rest is history. |

Struggling to get 20 mbps download. i would be happy if i got 20Mbps, just see image, for like 2 weeks now i have to wait till late midnight to use it during the day, i have had to switch to MTN, cos its practically unusable; especially for video calls
