Can anyone assist the family with these:

1. Helping the man get a job. He can combine this with business on the side. If possible, can he form a plan to go back to school once he's stable.

Helping the man get a job is not going to happen overnight and the going bck to school part, common let be realistic here

2. The wife doesnt look too good- her face is puffy amd i'm not sure if this is ok even though women can be puffy during pregnancy. Is there anyone on ground who can help her get to a primary health care center. The charge should be minimal. Alternately, could anyone take her to a nearby clinic though this will cost more.

I think that cost money as well but not too sure except if antenatal is free in Nigeria. Right now we only have the one person running around and we don't want to overload her with all this responsibilities for now maybe if we get another volunteer.

What are the public schools around.

Clothes etc can be provided by people around?

Prolly after sorting accommodation out for them then that will be the next step. According to the list the little boys school and need is included but since we are not sure of the area they are going to be moving to then its not advisable to look for school now

room and parlour in mowe is N4,000 a month x 12 months. N48,000 plus half year N24,000 equal N72,000 (One and Year)

this man will be comfortable with this, because if u rent a house of N300,000 per 2 years for this man, when the rent expire where do you think this man will get another money to pay his house rent, this man need to be empower, if u get him a house of N72,000 per one and half years agency and agreement N20k, Total Package N92k, he can then use the remain balance to buy one Okada and use it for transport in mowe and still get a shop and set up his wife to be selling okira clothes and shoes, people will buy it and they will make a living send their Son to school and life goes on.

I spoke to ify today and she has agreed to be our main contact in naija for these project.

Obviously she has gone to visit them and number one priority is accommodation to start with and she gave a list of what is needed as well.

So we just need to arrange the funds and get it down to her ASAP as she has a limited time of stay in Lagos.

For the accommodation I have contacted couple of people on property section including Lawyer and still waiting on reply.

The only one that replied is in mowe area but I don't really think its a problem

Hopefully we will get these sorted soon

100K should be able to stock the shop and that includes a portable fairly used Fridge and small Gen.

120K or less should sort out their accomodation.

60K for shop rent(might be less) for a year.

20K for the boy academics.1 full session sch. fees(3 terms),school books etc.

10K for stocking their kitchen.

I know times are kind of hard at the moment but you can put a smile on these family's face this xmas
