seems its the new monikers in this section that are being scammed. If anyone unknown contacts you, 1st thing you do is to ask for the person's moniker, then run a background check on the person (just paste the said moniker/phone no in the nairaland search bar) and determine from the person's past record if u can deal with him or her. Do all this before replying the person. Whoever u dont trust, just find a REPUTABLE escrow. Pls, dont fall for the, ALL ESCROWS ARE BUSY prank. Find any reputable person u both can TRUST. If u guys dont agree on escrow, abeg hold ur coins or whatever it is that u r selling/buying.

p.s. Prior to doing the above, familiarize urself with the trend, do ur research in wat u r venturing into and learn about ways u could get scammed. U can achieve some of these by simply reading the thrend. (by reading, I mean 20 - 40 pages prior)

what annoyed me about tge whole thing is that the price of commodities were in no way affected in all of this pumping, but if dollar goes up to 550 immediately, you will see business men adjust prices the next day, it's quite unfortunate that the average Nigerian out there did not benefit from this pumpkin leaf they just shared

u guys seem to get it wrong, if u and the other party don't agree on the same terms to deal, that doesn't make any of the parties a scammer (not at first). if una no agree deal, pack ur kaya or ur money go another place.

if I no trust u and I no wan send first, and u insist I send first, I go keep my money or coins and u keep urs. No b by force to deal, and that doesn't make any of us scammers. na just simple business logic. u have to agree terms to deal, if not, d deal is cancelled
