MY OPINION THOUGH!!!

Hu ever has btc should sell now ooo, as BTC/NGN is being pummeled on both sides: the gaining naira and the hard fork debate. Both of which u can't control, its going to get worse I should say.

To those hu are buying btc, make sure u have a ready buyer or a place to sell it, else, u would b caught with the crashing rates

i laugh .. so circle will buy your coin and record loss abi?

they have result to playing dirty

politics
circle is a wallet now..they stopped being an exchange last december

nothing concern them with if u lose or gain, them don fulfill their duty of care..to avoid unwanted law suits.

There is an agreement signed by 27 major exchanges (Btcc, kraken, bitfinex, coinbase etc) that they would hav a contingency plan for when d fork happens. Many said they would stop withdrawals and deposit till the coast is clear. When that happens, ppl would panic and sell, crashing the price further.

It should be noted that the current Btc/USD price crash is caused by the hard fork debate
BusinessRe: ➜ ➜ ➜Currency/E-currency Market Deals➜ ➜ ➜ by rad8(m):
Received a mail from coinbase, circle and kraken, all warning against a possible hard fork. Circle's own held more weight as it is advising ppl to sell off or convert to other Cryptos before the possible fork occurs.

my advise is don't hold or hoard btc for now, the btc fork might happen next week. God help us all

my own is that I won't buy what I can't sell, if after surveying various btc markets (luno, remi, lbc and d rest) and d price u are offering me is far more then what I can sell it for. na to lock up go buy from there na. I don't do ponzi, neither do I use btc to soak garri, so whatever btc I buy is what I would resell. I won't open my eyes to make loss just like that.

Also, u should also consider that ppl who send funds outside the country would always want the cheapest place to do that. A client hu wants to send cash to us or China would not buy at a high rate when he can actually get it at a cheaper rate.

I am just saying my own. u got to move with the trend. MY OPINION THOUGH

Leave them to be bashing you.

They think you're spoiling their market.

At luno, rate is 436/$. Ayam just waiting for the market at luno to correct itself. Them vam...i take a position.

Let them be selling 450/$

Personally, my benchmark is dollar rate at the black market.

We all have different uses for different products but the most influential takes the day.

Would you request for Escrow for dealing with a fellow Nairalander that pass all the features in recognizing a real seller?

Would you request for Escrow in dealing with someone like Justi4jesu or 3RNEST just because of $10? cool

Common, this is logic bro, use your initiative, no matter how perfect a scammer might be, would he possesses over 30 topics and over 2,500 posts undecided

We don't need be wasting our time here mehn!.

And mind you, I am responsible for whatever I post but you are responsible for however you quote it. I didn't call anyone poor but rather posted a quote which I would explain it to you well; If you are just poor, fine...you can be rich when you work hard, but If you have a poverty mentality with being poor, even if you are rich, you would still behave like being poor

That's why I said.

Poverty in conjunction with Poverty mentality = Disaster.

Peteruyip fall my hand big tym. we never dealt oo, was really uncomfortable with his send first principle. Also he botched a deal we were suppose to have. I feel bad for those he cheated.

seems we would soon start all these all over again. no wan is trusted, u use escrow just like we did Nov last year.

@ Peteruyip, I know u don't joke with money as u usually request to send first, buh u self consider am na, if u were in his shoes, hell would have let loose

the word integrity means: the quality of being honest and fair. To be frank, u haven't been truly honest and fair in this matter, ryt from the onset, and that questions ur integrity.

I still wonder how someppl are comfy holding someone else's money. As for me, the moment coins hit my wallet, I know I become liable and would do wat it takes to pay u no matter what the condition btc maybe. Also, I consider that my name is at stake and would do what it takes to keep it clean.

so abeg oga Peteruyip, I know u would incur some loses, buh that's for u to bear, u just have to pay the guy dollar equivalent of btc or naira.

I hope u c reason I my opinion

@ peteruyip

Oga send saintiflex dollar equivalent of the btc you received. Btc is an encrypted currency, what matters is the money equivalent. I believe you wouldn't have initiated refund if the coin had appreciated.

It's either you give the guy his naira, give him dollar worth of the coin when he sent you or you are a fraud
totally agree with u, dollar equivalent of btc or naira

Actually, he was informed within 5 minutes. Read the second screenshot. Check the timing. He even dropped his account details immediately.

The timing isn't the problem here. The issue on ground is :
1. Peteruyip claims to have paid the money since yesterday, without any proof of payment. Even if na SMS alert.
2. Even if na me, I would be bothered. Almost 24 hours. I even advised him to walk up to his bank, and do a manual transfer to Santiflex, and cancel any pending online transfers.

Peter should kindly react to this.

I understand how u feel. sometimes, I am also tempted to cancel a deal when price really fluctuates, buh a deal is a deal, @ Peteruyip, u agreed to buy at that deal, pls kindly honour it. Doesn't speak well of u as a dealer to do that.

As for me, if I can cancel d deal b4 u send, then Good. where I can't, I would continue d deal. na contract ooo

What do you mean sir, i thought it was because of the BU vs BTC war
na im b d hard fork debate na

for those wondering what hard fork is

A hard fork is a permanent divergence from the previous version of the blockchain, and nodes running previous versions will no longer be accepted by the newest version. This essentially creates a fork in the blockchain, one path which follows the new, upgraded blockchain, and one path which continues along the old path. Generally, after a short period of time, those on the old chain will realize that their version of the blockchain is outdated or irrelevant and quickly upgrade to latest version.

Following the hack on the DAO, the Ethereum community almost unanimously voted in favor of a hard fork in order to roll back transactions that siphoned off tens of millions of dollars worth of digital currency by an anonymous hacker. The hard fork also allowed DAO token holders to get their ether funds returned to them.
