I bought a laptop and a phone, basically for it yet i'm still stuck on how to make my vpn to indicate USA location. I was told to download epic browser or anonymox which I did, but in the end my fiverr profile will still show Nigeria! Pls help me guys to solve this problem so I can join the fiverr crew. I really don't think it is compulsory to run a US based account. Nigerian accounts have some 'limitations' but are not as terrible as painted.

Try following the procedure at the top of this thread carefully. it should work if you do not mess it up somewhere.

If it doesn't, use a Nigerian account and be extra-diligent at what you do. You'll still succeed.

I have a question for the top sellers in the house. How do you manage your barrage of orders when they come? Do they drive you crazy? What is your schedule like?

And for top writers: How long does it take you to write say a 1000 word article?

I'm not at the top yet and the trickles of orders almost gets me nuts, especially with the power condition.

Hi, friend. Let me try to help. I promise not to make this sound like a lecture from old Grandma or from Prof. Wole Soyinka, and I hope you and anyone else who may be interested will find this epistle concise and helpful enough.

Ok, here's the sequence. First and foremost, a keyword is a highly searched word or phrase. Search engines know the particular words or phrases (aka keywords) that people include in their search queries when they are looking for info or services or products online. So when people search for something, only those sites that have made it glaringly obvious that they are talking about that particular word or phrase will appear first.

This is where SEO and SEO writing comes in. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) refers to the strategies involved in making your site rank high or appear early on a search engine's first page. Remember, first page.

Got it up to here?

Now, one of those strategies is the use of keywords and their placement and their density and their interlinking on the pages of your site and in the articles in your blog. This is called on-page SEO. An effective writer must master keyword incorporation, which is (I repeat) the use of a word or phrase (often repeatedly but effectively and strategically) on a page or in an article or in an image, in such a way as it helps both people and search engines to:
(1)very quickly know what that article or page is all about and
(2)find the answer to their search query.

So, is keyword writing the same as SEO writing? Technically, yes. However, there's a whole lot more involved than just repeating a particular word or phrase a number of times. May I suggest? Go and read up on-page SEO and keyword density and keyword placement and inbound linking and image optimization on Google.

So, the next time you see a request for SEO writing on the Buyer Request page, go for it. Don't shy away from it because you are only half a writer if you can't do effective SEO writing. The more you practice it, the better you will become.

I am still quite new to the whole fiverr business, as I only just created my account in November. Still, I've delivered 4 jobs and currently working on another without buying any review.

Here are a few tips I can offer from what I see on your fiverr account:

1. Just because you claim to come from US alone wouldn't guarantee you rapid sales. Buyers aren't dumb and can easily see your level of professionalism from your profile (Note that I am also in article writing, but I use a Nigerian account!!).

2. Don't overdo anything: Your profile already says you are from US so don't go into your description and still add that bit of information. Frankly, that makes you look fishy. This can apply to anything tho.

3. You have room for stating your certifications and degrees on the fiverr page. There is no need to work that into your description either.

4. Your english is wack (no insult meant). You can't source for a writing job when you can't even compose a syntatically and semantically correct grammar.

N/B: Your description should be brief, and should highlight strengths that can't be found on other aspects of your profile.

5. Your gig description should be longer, and more detailed. You are allowed as many as 2000 words, use them all (or as much as possible). Your gig description should state what you do, and why you are better at it than anyone else. It should be specific, but it should be deatailed and should upsell your strengths every step of the way.

6. While your profile pic is okay (at least for those of us who are scared of chasing potential buters away with our black faces), your gig pictures should be different, and should relate directly to what it is you do.

7. I'd like to think this is the most important. Visit the profile of other sellers ( toprated, level two and level one) related to article writing Check out what their profile description, gig description, and just about everything else.

8. Lastly (and this beats no. 7), how can you sell a service you can't perform? I mean no insult and wish you'd see it that way. But, if you can't put together a nice write up for your profile, how can one trust you to ediit their work into perfection? The point is, if you want to write, practice writing.

N/B: The fiverr academy and forum are great places to get wonderful tips, if you've got the time.

LAST BULLET: KEEP WORKING ON YOU, AND ON YOUR PROFILE - IT IS NEVER PERFECT. LEARN FROM THOSE IN A SIMILAR CATEGORY TO YOURSELF. REPLY YOUR MESSAGES ON TIME. KEEP WINNING.

Regrets and wishes. Both very opposite, yet very similar. Coming to a compromise, and working in synergy, they produce something devastating. RETROSPECT.
Retrospect is a very pretty two-faced demon. Beautifully appealing, she draws you into her warm embrace, inviting you to relax just a little, and then some. With and within her, everything feels so right. You think to yourself how comforting she is, how right she is, how nice she is. You get so caught up in the comfort she offers that you lose track of time. You find yourself musing on how best to remain in there, unwittingly leading yourself to the pit.
Who is this pretty demon of whom we speak? Retrospect, simply put, is thinking back on what could have, and should have been. It involves thinking about what alternative course of action you could have taken, and how much of a perfect result you would have achieved had you followed it. In retrospect, you are always right. In retrospect, every alternative course of action followed would produce some “more appropriate, rewarding and satisfying”. But herein lies the demon behind the pretty face.
Life does not wait while you pay retrospect a visit. While retrospect holds you ever so tenderly in its warm embrace, life moves forward, leaving you in its wake and on its trail. When retrospect flashes you her most affectionate of smiles, and heartily consumes some of your time, life gives you a ‘bad eye’, and drifts off you.
