When I made this post. I did not know that @alexa58 is the anchor person for 2025.

I got information that @alexa58 came into this group towards end of the year in 2024 as well. I stand to be corrected.

I formally withdraw the conclusion that @alexa58 should anchor next season.

But I think a neutral person should handle the process of who should anchor next season.

But whoever will do should come and be active here. We still have about 25 days to end of the year.

The new anchor should seek for nominations and handle the poll and whoever wins. So be it.

Idgaf about patriotism. I know I live in a privileged country, I didn't get to choose where I was born, just like you. I'm very thankful to be in this country, but kid you not, I've lived in other countries and been to many poverty riddled countries. I'm helping friends in Ng to immigrate for work, but this issue is Asylum seekers, not going through the immigration avenues. Different altogether.

Have to look at the facts here... there is an absurd number of people seeking Asylum in Canada and they were just not ready for the numbers. Government is moving to solve it as quickly as possible. Already busses have come to move people to other shelters where there is more room. Naturally most Asylum seekers are looking at Toronto and surrounding as yes, it's pushed as the place with so much opportunity... and this is true for most. The Canadian job market is begging for skilled workers... [b]we're extremely short... so come with the right skill sets, yes, [/b]you will find a good job at a good rate of pay, but come and look for a job at a coffee shop... well... different story.

Been seeing one around my poultry farm area.

It’s still very small…(size of a giant lizard) but runs away fast (very fast) When it notices approaching movement.

But I have been noticing it.

Haven’t thought of what to do with it when it gets bigger and don’t know if it will be harmful/destructive when it gets bigger.

Just observing for now!
