Please to make life easy for yourself ,when you draw your short/long position tool on trading view it’ll bring the amount you’re risking as SL in pips
I.e if BTC Dey 40000 and your SL is 39700
You’re risking 300pips not 30pips
If you’re risking 20$ I.e 20/300= 0.066
0.066 is your lots
For every pip move, 0.066$ goes in or out of your balance
As easy as setting IV line

Let say you have 100 dollars account and you want to be risking 2 percent per trade that will be 2 dollars. Assuming you see a setup with a sl of 12 pips if u trade the setup. You are going to divide 2/120 that should give you 0.016 then you round it off to 0.02 as your lot size.

Note the 120 is 12 pips.

for gold just divide the 20$ by number of pips you’re risking .If you’re risking 500pips on gold . That’s 20/500= 0.04
So 0.04 is your lotsize.
For gold o
