Peugeot was favoured against most contemporary vehicle during its days. But it had one issue which was fuel consumption. A lot of people rushed to Golf, Mazda and the Igbo marketers flooded the market with second hand Honda's that were rejected in other countries that was how Honda started in Nigeria. Today the Nigerian market prefer Toyota

Na so so issue, shocks, overheating/gasket, fuel injector etc, at a point i sha must spend money on the car every forthnight. I sold it off and tried honda and the experience was better. To me any car is good as far as the cost of maintenance is cheap. There is no pride in using a car that turn you broke

And they say corolla parts are cheap,small coil cost over 7k for 1,that's an example o,front hub is a thousand or 2 more expensive than that of Lexus Rx 330,sometimes I do wonder what part exactly in corolla is cheap that folks always talked about as one of its selling points? I don't even know what your spare part guy has been doing to you. That coil is 5500 to 6000. The hub is 15,000 to 20,000 do you guys even price things at all?

Don't know if English or maths hard o,but will try to break it down...car company A vs car company B,Which I will label car A and car B,now car A produces or Manufactures a total of 1000 cars yearly classified into different classes,while car b Manufacture a total of 400 cars yearly,if car A sells a total of 500 cars and car b sells a total of 300 cars,it will be said that car A sells more cars than car b,but if we are to work with it by percentage its not actually true,you compare the units sold with units Manufactured which brings us to the simple maths,it means Car a sold 50% of the cars it Manufactured while car B despite selling lower units in total sold like 85% of the car it produces,that's just simple as ABC,expecting a car company that produces way lower units to out sell a company that Manufacture far higher units its a joke and totally unreasonable yet a car brand that Manufactures lower units in some years and instances sold more in certain brands more than a company that Manufacture higher unit,the brain is meant to be used not to be left inactive,in summary HONDA NA YOUR MATE?

you are confusing yourself with the maths. Those statistics don't apply here. Reliability is our key metric us choosing cars and the Honda is inferior to the Toyota in that metric. I don't care about infotainment what am I going to do? Sit in a broken down car and listen to sad musics?

I spoke to a bolt driver driving a Civic and he told me the engine is better than the 2ZR engine of the Corolla, that's just ridiculous, painfully ridiculous. He should be ashamed of himself driving around in a vehicle meant for women

This is the Honda Pilot... We have fixed these vehicle for years without a single engine issue but suspension issues. Today it's shaft, tomorrow is inner cup, next tomorrow it's lower arm. You think I speak from ignorance? I speak from a place of immence information my friend.

Do you know that I was fortunate enough to witness a CRV head on collision with a Camry... The owner of the CRV was called to glory immediately. Bad suspension, bad safety features and very light build materials.

Honda's are manufactured in Japan, Europe and the US and maybe some other licensed assembly plants in some other places. In Nigeria the Honda cannot and will never win. I can't remember the last time we fixed a Honda at my workshop. Oh we fix a Honda Pilot belonging the the National Human Right Commission.just one Honda in their official fleet of almost 200 Toyotas.

I totally disapprove of your sense of humour on this matter. This is a very serious deliberation for me as I already know a lot of future buyers of this vehicle will look to these engagements for direction.

Honda became a brand of choice in Nigeria when Peugeot failed to deliver on fuel efficiency. But even KIA and Hyundai are already building better vehicles for Nigerians. Why will anybody drive a Honda when you have KIA, Nissan,VW and Ford to choose from.

Speaking on my earlier complaint of the structural competence of the Honda, are you aware that the Honda has an SUV assembling plant right here in Nigeria and despite this friendly gesture by Honda to build locally here in Nigeria. We still do not have what I will prefer to describe as Institutional acceptance for its vehicles the way we have for the Toyota and even Nissan.
