Enugu pride itself as the capital of eastern Nigeria.
Though the city has grown in population and real estate , the city has managed to keep her green lush together.
Barely cities in Nigeria can maintain such as many of those green areas eventually give way to buildings..

Before you tell me about Headbridge onitsha, pls remember its a concessional contract - the federal government contributed only 3% of the total contract sum. i said state government Go thru the write up again |

I had to change the topic to allow for a more compelling argument.
Barreling through onitsha, one would wonder if there is a federal govt footprint in the city.
Aside the niger bridge and mausoleum, the answer is a resounding “no”.
This has lead the city to be a law on her own and not always adhering to federal govt issued Muslim holidays because of its predominantly Christian population.
Barely 60yrs after a devastating war that brought the desolation and destruction of the city, the city was quickly built up by individuals with barely any support from the state.
Not until the govt of Peter obi did the city learn of what “government” entails.
From paving of new roads to adding new streets/traffic lights to new building laws and establishing of industrial estates etc .. the city seems to have adapted very well.
Why the state govt is trying to pull her weight, it only accounts for 10% of the cities development while a whooping 90% of city development is attributed to private individuals.
Way forward: successive state governors in anambra should stop waiting on FG to throw their support in the city development.
New laws should allow for building more than 7 story buildings

No lefelendum, no erection Pls who wan vote for you igbos will rule and you’ll live to see it. You’ll watch things improve, and economies grow. All that free monies you and your cronies get from looted funds will stop. The north will be fenced off and all her diseases, afflictions, poverty, curses and violence will consume you and you alone. Federal character will collapse and they north would be relegated to the background. None of you will have anything and nothing...and you all shall be contained in you north behind the fence/wall The west would be free of godfatherism and merit would reign supreme. You’ll watch East grow and the entire country fly to triumph. ...and there’s nothing, absolutely nothing you’ll do about it |

Is Calabar too a no-man's-land?
Why does this remind me of the way the Fulanis have colonized the Hausas?
This is just a tip of the iceberg should SS decide to go with Biafra.

Rossikki: Very nice and subtle warning by the VP to our dumbass secessionists who think that everything will remain the same if they get their secession.
Not only will you need visa to Kano, you will need visa to Lagos, Abuja, Kaduna, Jos, Port Harcourt, Calabar. etc.
You will become a target for police hell bent on dealing with 'illegal aliens' like yourself.
Goodluck being confined to Onitsha , Enugu and Aba.
Mumu people. last time I checked, it wasn’t only igbos asking for separation. The same Nigeria where armed terrorists waltz in, commits atrocities and moonwalks out is the one “dealing with illegal aliens” Since you hate igbos so mch, why don’t u support their separation so they can go and suffer? |

The separated colonies would still be in ecowas and they wouldn’t require visa to travel.
Besides, who wants to travel to Kano?
What’s there in Kano? To see banbiala people? |
