thegoodjoehunt3: Messi certainly had a better World Cup than Ronaldo. However, I think that is an unfair comparison since Messi played in a far better team than Ronaldo. Portugal were awful and had a very average squad. In any case, Ronaldo was still clearly carrying an injury, not just any injury either, he apparently had pretty painful tendonitis and shouldn't have been playing at all (at the risk of his entire career). Just look what playing though tendonitis did to Owen Hargreaves!
