Politics / Re: 2012 Budget Breakdown by sectors (Defence is the biggest) by Rald2: 12:48pm On Dec 19, 2011
This budget like every other budget that has been churned out is taking us round a vicious circle. 72% of the budget for recurrent expenditure shows a govt that is not just ready to deliver. From past experience the implementation (of capital expenditure) has been low. The recurrent portion has to be spent by every means possible. So when they talk about low implementation it is in the area of capital expenditure.

Defence has the biggest share; simply means that all resources will be used to secure the country in 2012, so Nigerians should expect little. If this (SECURITY) is not achieveable the status quo continues. (Or me thinks more Nigerians will be drafted to the forces 2 fight the war?? this is employment u know!!)

Nigeria deserves more than this. We deserve more than sycophancy. We deserve a budget breakdown that is achieveable, that will tell us in clear terms where the nation is headed 2 in the various sectors- Education, Health, Power( which is the bed rock of every other thing), Petroleum etc

Nigerians should realise that 72% of the 2012 proposed budget is for some select few also known as govt officials and their retinue of aids, this group of people the last time i checked are so greedy that from the 28% remaining for capital expenditure only about 5% will get to the masses (aided greatly by CORRUPTION).

The budget should start by reducing the number of aids drastically ( not something we do over 10 yrs) all those hangers on should be shelved. An implication that the recurrent will drop and there will be an increase in resources for Capital expenditures.

The budget tell us the mind of the leadership, I'm afraid there's nothing new. Same old story. Really SAD sad
Romance / Re: What Pet Name/Names Do You Call Your Lover? by Rald2: 11:37am On Jun 13, 2005
Do you mean to say names like sweetheart, sugarpie, Honey and all that are no longer it? Are we talking about names for our pets i.e dogs, cats, monkeys or for a loved one?

Better know what you call your spouse when people are around. Like seun said it should be pleasing to the ear.

I CALL MINE Ore! My spouse, my friend , my all
