What if a guy asks his woman not to apply make-up when with him? How would you react ladies?

Your logic here in my opinion is wrong. There is no scripture that implies that having a passion for ones beloved is wrong, and neither is it fornication. I wonder what scripture you are refering to here. Christian couples can have healthy romance during courting, song of Solomon is proof of that; there you can see the fantasies and imaginative dialogs, even dreams the shulamite maiden had of are beloved.

logicboy: Sex before marriage is almost impossible. Only few people can claim to be virgins on their wedding day. Even if soemeone did not have sex before marriage, how did the person get attracted to the partner? Didnt the person think of the partner sexually? Ehem that is fornication

The Bible say alcohol should be taken in moderation. Taking alcohol in excess, or food in excess (gluttony) is bad. Why? Because it poison's our body and can lead to disease. Note the reason why it is bad is because it bad for us.
The Bible does not just ask us to do or not to do something, it gives reason's why. I believe the following bible principles will help clarify this matter better, please see below.

1) In ancient Israel God gave laws on how one's body shouldn't be treated. Leviticus 19:28 states "You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks upon you: I am the LORD"

2)I Cor 3:16,17 states "16 Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you? 17 If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him; for God's temple is sacred, and you are that temple."

3)Revelation 21:8 mentions something about the vile (unclean or filthy)people being destroyed.

The bible doesn't have to make direct mention of something for use to understand if it is agreeable with it or not, our minds and trained by God's word to distinguish right from wrong, states Hebrews 5:12-14 "12 In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! 13 Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. 14 But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil."

He is only fooling himself. He is either controlling or insecure and doesn't trust you. That is bad for your relationship. You should talk to him and let him see that he can trust you, as you obviously trust him. But he doesn't have to make you his prisoner to achieve that.
