Please for Stream 1 corpers, how was the redeployment thingy for those that redeployed? Was it easy? Do I need to go with a Medical Report? I was posted to Adamawa but will be camping in Taraba. I can redeploy based on security concern. I just want to know how easy it is. Are we going to choose to the state we want to redeploy to or we will be given option of states to choose from. Thanks

If after reading d above postin n u stil insistd on deferment, jst ignore ur call up letter. Schs alwys remobilize those dat didn't come for their call up letter..If u printed ur call up letter online, take it to ur sch so dat u can b remobilized for d next Batch. *I hope ur sch does nt ve "backlogs" of graduates awaiting mobilization cos der cases will b treated first. Marital/Health/Insecurity, what oda grnds r u lookin for? Relocatn on Insecurity ground is open to all CM posted/serving in d north east (includin Taraba,*tho no BH activities there*). #2.NO! It's ur new state dat wil b responsible for ur state allawee. U ve no business wit d state u rejected except dat they wil b in charge of ur federal govt allawee for d 1st 3mnths (cash in camp n d oda 2mnths wil b sent to ur acc).

Hello Friends.....Also posted to Adamawa State but will be camping at Taraba State. Please, I need information for posting policy in Adamawa and where Paramedics e.g Anatomy, Physiology etc. are mostly posted, their allowance and accomodation. Possibility of been retain after service.

Be it lagos or Adamawa, u shld knw dat corp members r mostly posted to schs/ministries. The posting policy is d same everywhere. May b u shld narrow d paramedics down to ur professn ( wht did u study?). As for medical doctor, pharmacist and nurses, they r mostly posted to places where they can practise their professn (e.g hospital) and they r well treated (more than any discipline) in everywhere (all d 36 states plus FCT) cos their services r highly demanded. For d allowance n accomodatn, I can't speak for d whole Adamawa corp members cos as we have those dat r enjoyin d service we also ve those dat r complainig bitterly (just like in every other states). As for me, I ve a good accomodation and my PPA pays me.
The issue of retainment is nt a state matter. It's btw u and ur PPA. I think I shld let u knw dat ethnic/religion marginalization is a bit high here. I ve a seen case where someone ws rejected cos he's frm a particular tribe n doesn't understnd hausa (Although marginalizatn is a general problm in Nigeria) .

If u r coming frm Lag/Osha/Benue, u wil see d camp along d express way bfor u get to Jalingo but for those of u comin frm KD/Jos/Bauchi, u wil drpd at Jalingo n then board a cab or take Keke to d camp.

Will the place of PPA and CDS be included in the redeployment letter to a new state?
Will the state allowance be paid by the new state or Adamawa or shared between the two states?
And the federal allowance as well.

Afta redeploymnt, u wil report to d nysc secretariat in ur new state. It's frm der dat ur acceptance letter (PPA) wil b generated. Once ur PPA accept u, u wil proceed to ur PPA local govt n complete d necessary registratn. It's d local govt dat wil put u in d appropriate CDS group.. As for d federal govt allawee ,Adamawa state wil pay u for d first 3months (d first month wil b paid in cash while in camp) den d oda months wil be paid to ur acc even while u r no more serving in Adamawa...For d state allawee, u r nt entitled to d Adamawa's .if ur new state pays state allawee, u wil b included in her payroll

Read d post u quoted again n also check d dictionary for d meaning of "relative". We were in camp whn Jimeta market was attacked in June, it didn't stop corp members frm comin to Adamawa. D place wher today's attack happnd is abt 5mins drive frm where I reside... Safety is of God. I don't knw ur view abt life, as for me I bliv I ws postd here for a purpose n I put my trust in God.. U don't nid to make mockery of d incidence. It doesn't matter where u r serving, it cud b south or north. Jst make sure u r useful to d society. *Rest in peace to d dead n quick recovery to d injured.

Deduce d distance frm PH to Onitsha to get d total dist. I knw dat frm Onitsha (Anambra state) to Jalingo (Taraba) is abt 10-12hrs depending on d vehicle. Taraba state airport is non-functional (stil under construction). If she wants to go by air, she has to come thru Yola airport (Adamawa) den board a vehicle to Taraba (Yola - Jalingo is abt 2-3hrs).

U r welcome. Amen, thanks... No nid of goin to Adamawa. Camp wil b opened a day or two before d D-day. She shld report at Taraba (camp) n apply for relocation while in camp. Once her applicatn is granted (usually at d end of camping), she can then proceed to her new state frm camp without goin to Adamawa.

It's abt 16 - 22hours depending on d speed of d vehicle n d driver's experience. Redeploymnt is usually done while in camp. If u wait til afta camp, it wil take u anoda 3months to relocate..

Congratulations prospective corp members. U guys shld create BBM channel or whatapp group, trust me it wil help. Also d OP shld change d topic to sometin simple like "NYSC /Adamawa 15B PCMs let's meet here". Adamawa is relatively calm n it's a nice place to be. I won't talk any one into stayin/redeployin, it's best whn d decision is urs. If you gat any question, post it here on nairaland n I wil surely get bk to u..
