Randerl: U guys no natin about marketing. It looks negative but hey
"Create a consciousness in them about out our products. Let it always be in front of them even though is for the negative reasons"
in my own opinion, i would rather say tecno is doing a good job sponsoring arguements like this to market their products. i will not be fooled anymore cos as a marketer, the best way to sell is to keep reminding the public about your product no matter what. Am sure by next week, another arguement of this sort will make front page and people will come and waste their mb on arguements that has been raised over and over again
facts#
1. whenever you want to compare two phones, don't just compare specs but the price range should be the first ground for comparism
an example is the samsung galaxy core of 38k and tecno phantom a+ of 35k....... I know we all know the winner
they were produced this year and though sammy guys will say that core has a better hardware bla bla bla, the truth is that, what a core can do, a phantom of thesame price range can even do better
2. Most samsungs phone are overated and still overated. imagine someone because of his hatred for tecno going for a samsung galaxy pocket of 16,500 when a tecno p5, tecno m3 and gionee p2 of thesame price range will out-class it
3. The fact that you are holding a samsung does not mean that your purse is fatter than the other guy using tecno, the truth is that some of us simply strive to derive maximum utility for what we have and not carry gadgets for ostentatious purposes. Blackberry can testify to that
4. Fact is Samsung has the name and the fame with which they sell their products, or else how will anybody go for some of their phones when better alternatives are there
5. finally, gadget users, you have no reason to be ashamed of what you are carrying as long as it serves your purpose.

I rest my case
Vulnerability found in Samsung Knox Software
25 December, 2013 | Comments (126)| Post your comment
Tags: Samsung, Android
The corporate world has made a substantial migration from the Blackberries of old to iOS and Android. In a scramble to pick up that corporate market share, Samsung created Knox, its own security software designed to fortify Google's OS, and make it secure for business environments. However, a "serious vulnerability" has been found in Knox which could put users' data at risk.

According to cyber security researchers at Ben Gurion University of the Negev in Israel, emails and data communications on Samsung devices are among the data susceptible to the exploit. Hackers are able to record and "easily interpret" the data which is supposed to be protected. The worst part of the vulnerability is that a capable malicious attacker could insert hostile code via the breach, thus creating system-wide harm.
The chink in Knox's digital armor was reportedly found earlier this month. Samsung has denied the severity of the vulnerability and has argued that the handset which was tested did not have all of Knox's features installed.
The Samsung Galaxy S4is being considered for use by the US Department of Defense's staff, including internal use in the Pentagon. If a foreign manufacturers' handsets aren't deemed secure, then there is no way the US government will consider using the phones. Samsung could therefore be losing a lucrative government contract if Knox can't make the cut.

no argument here. Each browser has its peculiarities and functions the way you want it to.

My UC Browser is for heavy files downloads and great multi window browsing of up to 14 different sites. My Facebook, Google+ NL etc

With UC l can download files of up to even 1gb. And it allows multiple downloads. l can pause and resume anytime l want. With the new UC HD, 2G networks functions LIKE 3G. I love my UC Browser for dirty works like serious multiple downloads of large files.

Glo the supposed Second National Operator after NITEL is as bad as NITEL itself. I wonder the Pride they claim or derive from the crap-related services and obsolete products they bring to their subscribers daily.

Since NITEL is no longer existing, I would advise the NCC/FEC to license another Operator in its place. One that have the interest of Nigerian youths and the economy at heart. We cannot keep having lowly rated and f.0.0lish operators parading our cyberspace with scams called internet data plans and rubbish airtime.
