wemimo42:Cool. No notification led is such a massive deal breaker for me. Anyway how would you rate the hot 2 please be frank with me abeg because I'm getting the phone in like a day or two from today. I've never used an MTK powered device before, my expectations are quite modest anyway, wouldn't expect a sub 20k phone to do the job of a 100k+ device. So yea. |
okitikpo:Thanks for the info. |
Elxandre:Abeg is there LED notification on the 2gb variant you just mentioned? I heard infinix phones usually don't have LED notification, how true is this? |
donhils:You won't be needing the LG flash tool and LG drivers if you're only gonna be flashing a custom rom only. Everything will be done via your phone. Frist thing is to download the custom rom. Everything else will be done in subsequence. The LG drivers is not the same as LG PC suite. I could give you a link to download the LG flash tool and the driver, If you want, but I don't think you'll be needing those since you're going the custom rom route it seem. For the rooting, try KINGROOT the interface is self explanatory. For the recovery, download ROM manager from playstore. Rom manager should automatically detect your phones version. After it has finished detecting your phone, you should proceed to downloading the CWM recovery from ROM manager. Nahh why I wan vex na? Afterall this is an LG G Pro thread, we got each others back. Ask me anything you want abeg. |
donhils:Ahh sorry I'm in Osun State where I school. I may have scared you with my earlier post but its really not difficult to flash a new update be it a custom rom or an official firmware. You just have to be VERY watchful and on the ball to details. |
donhils:First thing first you'd need to ascertain if its an official firmware from LG (kdz file) or a custom rom (zip file) from a techy somebody. To flash an official LG firmware I.e a .kdz file is really quite straightforward. All you need to do is download LG drivers (very important), and LG flash tool, install both on your PC. Once you've done that let me know. While the route to flash a custom rom is a bit technical you'd need to have your phone rooted - download the lollipop rom of your choice, a .zip file, put the Rom (zip) on your SD card - download and install a recovery (CWM) - boot to recovery - back up your current rom - then wipe and install the custom rom. Just tell me which file it is, a custom rom or an official lollipop .kdz file? |
Obinnio:Guy I can assure with all honesty that lollipop 5.0.1 is running perfectly well on my G pro. I use the korea varian F240L. Luckily for me I found an official lollipop firmware from LG for my variant on Xda forums, it was a .kdz file about 1.5GB all I did wast to install it onto my G Pro using LG flash tool. Take it from me guy no wahala whatsoever albeit the official firmware not a custom lollipop rom from a third party though. |
Cool phone with impressive specs even more impressive than some of the more newer phones out there today. Mines running Lollipop and gosh its fantastically beautiful . |
mekstaniac:I would say go with the Samsung Galaxy S4. The other ones you mentioned don't quite measure up with the S4 though the S4 its a older device. If you're one who wants to tweak the IMEI of your phone in for Glo BIS then the S4 is certainly not that guy. But if you aren't interested in tweaking your IMEI then S4 it is, no brainer! The S4 spells a device with an éclat premium quality, superbness, greatness and it has lollipop support as well. Its screen and camera quality are just miles ahead of the other two you listed. I know because I've used Samsung Galaxy S4 before. |
erooOluwa:Sorry for the late reply been really busy. As for your question though, I've gone back to android and absolutely loving it, I now use a Moto X 2nd Gen. I found the android ecosystem (developers, users, forums, tutorials, bug fix, apps etc) a lot more dynamic, refreshing and forward thinking something I missed greatly while on BB. But truth be told sha I wouldn't have left BB if not for Z10 battery problem. If I'm to advise you though, I'd say get the Z3 its cheap, has a fairly decent battery and a larger screen and it does all the things BB are pretty much known for very well --- *productivity* |
yomifola:Nah nevermind ill go get it 26k in Ikeja. |

midexz:Bro this issue is quite a thing with the STL100-1 variants. The problem is that the on-device meter is off sync with the battery charge. It is annoying as hell especially when you're in the middle of a conversation. There really isn't any 'text book' fix to it and this is what annoys me the most about Blackberry, they don't seem to care, the issue has been haunting Z10 users (STL100-1) since day one and yet BB is yet to fix it. Something android and iOS users just cannot accept. There are handful of unofficial 'solutions' out there that could only solved the problem for a day or two (while I was still using my Z10) the problem did resurfaced every other time, not quite sure if they'll be of any use to you. Anyway I've disposed mine, the wahala was too much. |
yomifola:Ok cool but how much first but we proceed. |
lordmayor4:Thanks for your input. Ill go with the Z3, though it is a little underpower compare to the Z10 but the large screen real estate coupled with a bigger battery size gives it an edge over the Z10 any day I believe. Thanks again. |
lordmayor4:Do you have Z3? Would love to get one. Btw though your opinion on this, which one is better between the Z3 and the Z10? I've used a Z10 before, quite problematic shutting down before the battery gets low and won't turn on till charge it up a bit, synonymous with the STL100-1 variants I noticed, other than that though, It was a pretty decent phone and i enjoyed it. Ok now With a minimal and lightweight use mainly for texting (emailing and chats) web browsing and Skype. I've an android phone for all my gaming demands anyway, Its the Z3 a good enough option? Don't like the Q10 nor the Q5, would have preferred the Z30 but its way too expensive for me. |
cathodekazim:Guy check your eyes well, sleep dey worry you? Go re-read my post then come back to quote me. |
divine2043:At a press conference before the game our coach was asked if he knew anything about the swedish team, his response was Nothing simply Nothing. Could you believe that?? The US have scored. I'm off to bed now. Yeye team ![]() |

Azizzat should have buried that one na! |
Duru1:Bros you're right and its quite sad. Africans shall always remain 100 steps behind the rest of the world it seem. Cameroon has made it out the group stage though, at least that's a plus for Africa something to celebrate. |
If we must avoid a catastrophic score line then that mama in goal Precious Dede must not start. That girl at right back Ohale abi? Shouldn't start too, she's tactically and technically inept imo. Ayinde has been absolutely non-existent in both games we've played thus far, she has no football brain whatsoever I really don't know what her role in the team is. Anyhow sha Falcons are coming back home after tonight game, just can't see them beating a much more superior USWNT. |
Plastic surgery things. Just look at her fake cheek bone and her extremely narrow nose, even white people nose self no dey slim like that. American celebrities, both male and female are sucker for plastic surgery - pretty much all have had something done. |
I don't even know who to blame more, the coaches or the players? All of them mumu jor! ![]() |
Icon4s:The exact same reason why Courtney should be brought into the game. The big girls you listed above have all failed us in flying colours. There's no better time to put a more vibrant and fresher legs out there. I've seen Courtney played, she's quite a handful for defenders. |
Icon4s:This is football not formula one, if a player isn't performing at optimal level for 2 consecutive match the player must be replaced, period. Besides I see no reason why Courtney Dike can't rub shoulders with the likes of Oparanozie in this team, she's been exceptional for her club/university in the US in recent times. |
Its quite clear the coach is tactically inept. I mean why start the same back four that almost cost us the game against Sweden! For crying out loud, Courtney Dike should be brought in to replace Oparanozie! ![]() |
Hahaha the dance move tight small sha. |
You just got to love this man, a die hard old soldier - action man to the core. Can't wait for may 29 now. Time to show that sluggish Jonathan how to properly and effectively run a country like Nigeria. |

skjade:Go to previous pages I'm pretty sure there are links for z10 on here. Now autoloaders are quite easy to work with provided you have a computer. First thing first make sure you have your phone backed up via BlackBerry Link, just the smart thing to do though. Now download the CORRECT autoloader for your z10 variant, usually a Zip file. Unzip it and run the .exe file. Turn off your phone, plug into your computer via USB. You'll be prompted to enter your password of your device, that Is if you have one set up already. That's all about it, just sit back and watch the magic happen ![]() |
Osinitu:Bros no wahala just resubscribe to CoMonth. Glo will take care of the rest. Your newly subscribed 3gb will be added to whatever megabytes you have left, so as the due date too. |
