Education / Re: World university rankings 2024 by Raph82(m): 5:49pm On Feb 15
Manny21:
If you like rank Nigerian universities number one million. Una go still rush the doctors trained in Nigerian universities and other African countries to come and work in your hospitals and medical facilities
And that's because it is cheaper to train a doctor here in Nigeria and absorb them into their system, not necessarily because Nigeria has a good educational system. Doctors absorbed from Nigeria are retrained on how to use the latest tech in medicine & surgery.

Nobody gets monopoly of violence. What is even wrong with these South Africans? Anyways, I don't blame them. If not for our leaders who are senseless and selfish, what will Nigerians be looking for in their stupid country?

Why are they shutting down
Cost of production ofcourse. Cost of feed is made up of 65% to 70% of the total cost of production. Cost of Poultry feed has gone to the roof. 25kg bag that used to sell for 3,500 naira before has now gone high to 15,000 naira & above.

Commissioning a power plant that's wholly dependent on gas in this 21st century? Nigeria is a big joker. Why do we keep getting everything wrong?

Sports / Re: Cameroon Prophet Elijah Abiri Prophesied That Cameroon Will Defeat Nigeria 3:1 by Raph82(m): 12:27pm On Jan 30
It's rather unfortunate, God can not be mocked. He made prediction, not prophecy. He said the scoreline was 3:1, he later said 3:0. I serve a coordinated God, not a gambling one. When God does not send u and u forcefully make declarations, u make uncoordinated & inconsistent speeches.
Sports / Re: Transfer: South African Club, Chippa United Demand €2 Million For Nwabali by Raph82(m): 12:10pm On Jan 30
Olalekanbanky1:

I have finally seen someone that shares my view on nwabali
Man has not been tested, honestly
Ability to conduct and communicate with his defenders is part of it. A keeper is as good as his defenders. If you communicate and manage your defenders well, you'll have less ball coming to the goal post. He charges his defenders to be efficient in their job and confident in the goal post.
Sports / Re: AFCON: CAF Clears Chukwueze, Osimhen, Moses Simon As Doping Tests Return -ve by Raph82(m): 11:48am On Jan 30
I don't trust this dope test o. We should have another angle to this dope test, because no 1 can be trusted. What if some people decide to envy the super eagles and weaken them by introducing tranquilizers into their blood systems. They can easily succeed in doing that by hiding under dope test. We are Nigerians, and we don't trust people totally.

Politics / Re: Ibadan Explosion: Illegal Miners Must Be Fished Out – Tinubu by Raph82(m): 6:23pm On Jan 17
Slurity:
Get the point clear, they are not mining in Bodija, but they store the explosive in their house they leave in Bodija with them, According to the eye withness that saw them running away from the house with their children and wives before the blast, they only go to the site in the morning and come back home in the evening, only God knows the actual site of the mining.
It may not be mineral mining activities, it may be quarry, they too use explosives. I remember when I was still working with one of these companies along Idi ayunre-Ogunmakin axis, there are lots of quarry sites owned by Indians & Lebanese along that axis. Every now & then, we do hear the loud explosion and ground tremor. Anybody with high blood pressure can not live in that axis.

I am a typical Yoruba man, but that won't stop me from saying it the way it is. Is this the way to go? For how long will people feed on less than 5 kg bag of rice? Will this solve poor man's problems permanently? Tinubu just keeps going about everything in a wrong way. He should remember mercy for the poor.

My advice, scrap the ministry, since it's become a medium to syphon money. The former minister was still under probe for laundering billions, this one too has been making move to squander millions, if not billions, in the same ministry.

Music/Radio / Re: Top 5 Ghanaian Musicians That Blew Directly From Nigeria In Recent Years by Raph82(m): 7:51pm On Jan 07
Our music has strong origin (Afto beat), which is fast spreading to other parts of the world. That's why we say is always good to have good origin if u want to blow in the industry. Afro beat has this rich ground for any artiste to grow his or her origin. Music origin from other parts of Africa are so shallow to support the growth of their artistes.
