Politics / Re: PDP’s Makinde Wins 17 LGs, Awaits Result From 1 Council by Raph82(m): 5:39pm On Mar 19, 2023
I began to exercise fear at a point that everyone was saying Makinde has shot himself at the foot by declaring his stand against PDP's choice at the presidential level. Even well known political analysts wrote him off for second term for belonging to the G5, but today, he's proven himself to be a different breed of Nigerian politician. He's done his home work well before taking his stand. He's loved by Oyo people. Congrats to the man of the people.

12 & 13 are the key, particularly 13. By now, each state should be generating, transmitting & distributing electricity itself, not relying on one stupid national grid that's epileptic. It's a long term investment. States like Lagos, Rivers, Oyo, Ogun, Kano, Kaduna should have no business with national grid. Where there's a will, there's a way.

Atiku should learn to lick his wounds, the damage has been done, next time u don't look down on people. What they have made these Northerners believe is that the South is a minority when it comes to politics and bloc votes in Nigeria.
What these guys are asking for is simple, u can't have everything shifted to the North, yet u went ahead to do ur wish, now that they turned ur table upside down, u're all over the place crying foul.
Besides, Tambuwal or what's his name again? That upturned Wike in the last minute to ur party's presidential election, to twist things to ur favour in the name of Northern display of political super power, what do u call him? Anaconda or Python? Where's he now in the face of all these?

Health / Re: United Kingdom Licenses 162 Nigerian Doctors In 42 Days by Raph82(m): 1:57pm On Mar 16, 2023
iyatrustee:

The Nigerian doctors paid very minimal tuition fees in their university days so they see greener pastures even when the pay isn't very great. The junior doctors here owe at least 100kpounds in student loans by the time they are done with training!

Exactly. I think it is unfair on the system too

I didn't look at it from that angle, thank u for the enlightenment.

But the same UK has its junior medical doctors on strike as we speak now due to the pay and some other issues. This 1 weak me o. Is UK trying to get replacement for some of these junior doctors?

U took the exact word out of my mouth. They are tagging all the queries the citizens sent to the IREV to give them figure update a cyber attack, na computer book cover these bastards read, no be the content wey dey inside. Even world's big data companies would not survive 500,000 attacks a day before their cyber defence system will be weakened, except their cyber security experts are on their toes 24/7, which may not be possible.

Please help me on this, on my course registration portal, I have 10 courses that appear on the page to be registered (2 credit units each), out of which 1 is appearing twice.
I) Should I just add one of the two?
Il) I've previously seen 11 courses for 300 level 1st semester somewhere, do I only need to register what appear on my course registration page, or there's a way I can add more courses to add up to 24 units.

Politics / Re: Bola Tinubu Calls Dino Melaye A Gorilla In His First Speech As President-elect by Raph82(m): 12:05pm On Mar 01, 2023
Halopy:
That's unpresidential. In your first speech? Although he has been insulting people all along, always bullying those with opposing views. The same thing he did throughout his campaigns, always believing he is better than everyone else. He orchestrated the arsons against Igbos in Lagos. That's pride and God resist the proud.
But that same God has allowed him have his way to the most exalted seat in the country. How come? I hate this man for every arrogant and abusive word he says each time he talks, but with that, he keeps getting elevated day by day. I wonder if what we term to be a pride is really a pride.

Politics / Re: Why I Am Running To Be Nigeria's President - Bola Ahmed Tinubu by Raph82(m): 4:35am On Feb 16, 2023
Peter Obi said all these, u never gave us a reason to see u as a serious contender in the first place. U were busy throwing banter at Obi and Atiku when u started ur campaign, now that u realized Nigerians are insisting on solid blueprint, u're left with no choice than to copy from what your opponent has been saying since. This isn't business as usual, the youths want to see ur blueprint, Nigerians want to see how much u understand Nigeria's problems and how you intend to tackle them and deliver results. That's all we need.

Only Obi can save this country right now.

Vote wisely
We said more than that before the 2015 election. Any aspirant that's not talking about full restructuring is a joker. Nothing can be done with this evil-laced constitution. The only man that can turn the table around is the one willing to step on toes and do the needful by implementing full restructuring. Power needs to be dissolved to the states & regions.
