Veteran Nollywoood actor, Dayo Adewunmi, popularly known as Sule Suebebe, is dead.


The Yoruba top actor died in the early hours of Wednesday at an undisclosed hospital in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

The news of his demise was broken on Wednesday by a popular Ibadan cleric, Pastor Ademola Amusan of Agbala Gabriel Church in whose care the late thespian has been for some months.

In announcing Suebebe’s death, Agbala Gabriel, as the cleric is popularly called, wrote on his Facebook page on Wednesday, “It’s a pity, Baba Suebebe died at hospital this morning. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.”


An undisclosed ailment brought the late actor in touch with Pastor Amusan who through his vast outreach programme on Facebook page raised financial support for the deceased who once apologised to the women he dated over the years, and may have offended during his youthful days.


In a viral video, Suebebe who plies his trade in the Yoruba speaking sector of the movie industry admitted that he lived a reckless lifestyle when he was younger.

Body of Femi Osibona Managing Director of Fourscore and developer of the collapsed 360 building in Ikoyi has been found dead by rescue team at the site of the building.
On Monday this week, a 21-storey building under construction had collapsed on Gerrard Road, Ikoyi, and left scores trapped in the rubble.

You will recall that Tiwa Savage revealed someone was trying to blackmail her with her de tape which was mistakenly posted on Snapchat.

The video which was immediately deleted after Tiwa’s Boyfriend posted it was already saved by the blackmailer.

Now, it seems Tiwa Savage kept to her plan of not paying the blackmailer and the person seems to have decided to release it.

The Tiwa Savage sextape emerged on Snapchat not long ago.

Former Premier League referee Mark Clattenburg is considered one of the most highly-rated European referees of his generation, having refereed several notable matches, including the 2016 UEFA Champions League Final and the UEFA Euro 2016 Final

But Clattenburg has come out to state that he’s still annoyed that former Chelsea midfielder Mikel Obi wrongly accused him of making a racist comment in 2012 and nearly had his reputation tarnished.

Mikel claimed the Consett-born match official directed a racist comment towards him during a league match against Manchester United calling him a “monkey”.

The FA cleared Clattenburg of any wrongdoing while the referee’s union demanded a full apology, compensation, and a donation to an anti-racism charity from Chelsea.

A few Chelsea players apologised to Clattenburg but not Mikel, leaving the 45-year-old with a bad feeling that still lingers today.

Still disappointed with the conduct of the former Super Eagles skipper, Clattenburg, named Mikel among the five most annoying players he’s officiated.

“I have picked Mikel because of the incident during a Chelsea v Manchester United match in 2012 when he accused me of making a racist comment, which was not right and I was later cleared by the FA,” Clattenburg wrote in the Daily Mail.

“He has never apologised, and that is disappointing because it could have ruined my life. I fell out of love with refereeing for a while after that but couldn’t quit because I had a family to support and no other career to pursue.

“Mikel only heard the allegation from his teammate Ramires, who did not speak English. Other Chelsea players have since apologised but nothing from Mikel.

“He had the chance to say sorry and speak to me about it during a Nigeria friendly in the United States before the World Cup in 2014, and I would have welcomed that, but nothing, sadly.”

The other four players who are equally annoying to officiate according to Clattenburg includes Portugal’s Pepe, Craig Bellamy, Roy Keane, and Jens Lehmann.

Early Thursday morning at about few minutes past six was a terrible day for me, I was going to work, myself and a friend while going to catch tricycle we ran into some hoodlums which they brutally injure me and cart away my valuables(laptop and other laptop accessories). The incident happened along Iju-Ishaga road, Lagos. The annoying part of the story is that the incident point is very close to a police post less than a kilometer.
Please the authorities should help in securing our lives and properties.

Aside the fact that most serving corps members in Nigeria is experiencing the bad moments of their lifetime in the so called NYSC Scheme.
When Nigeria was still Nigeria, at least eighty percent of corps members then secure permanent job according to history, all is history.
Imagine some sets of people will decide on their own to initiate a plan without seeking the citizen's consent.
In a country that's guided by rule of law and an NYSC scheme that is formulated and guided by set of laws ( NYSC ACT ), an individual decides on his own to add another month to the already waste time with no reason.... I mean reason oooooo...
The attention of the good citizen of this great nation is needed on this and please on behalf of all serving corps members help us ask the NYSC DG to give us viable reason(s) for the extension.....
