Why is everyone keeping mute on our stipends. This place doesn't use to be this dull. Let's all go tweeting, this week shouldn't go without us being paid o.

Could this bvn thing be part of the process of making this program a permanent one, because even people that have already exited the scheme received the mail. I just wish they can change the stipend to salary, absorb us into federal payroll and make it a permanent job.

I think its high time we returned to twitter and Facebook. Please let's all contribute in our own little ways. Together we can make our plight known to them.

As much as I would like to respond to ur request, I must confess that it is quite hilarious.
First are you on Twitter?
If you are,then its better but you are not, go to Twitter.com and create an account.
After you have created an account, you can then post on your twitter handle. You can follow and also be followed on twitter. Now when you post, it is seen by ur followers just like you will be seeing the post of the people you follow as well. When you have an # tag added to ur post, it becomes a trend. Example is our #FGPayGISInterns. You can direct a post to a particular individual if you know the person's username. You only need to add @ before it and your post will appear on the person's handle. A typical example is
FG pay us our two months stipends! #FGPayGISInterns @FINANCEGOVNG @MBuhari

Good morning dear interns and partner employers. We were shocked to see the Punch publication as you did that GIS is under some kind of investigation. Apparently, the paper does not differentiate between the different components of the defunct SURE-P. Please disregard the fictitious story as GIS is still alive to its responsibilities and is not under any kind of investigation. Our lawyers are already considering our options in this matter.
