It is not Islamic tins but Arabic letters coined to produce Hausa words. It was added to help Hausa readers who were then mostly lettered in Arabic and not English. For example, the Arabic inscriptions you have on that 50k note is pronounced Kobo Hamsin, which means 50 kobo in Hausa language.
Let's leave it at that because that lopsided act has been corrected. At the back of current N5, you now have wazobia lettering.

Very good, yet we should try and do right things at right time. Two days after the commissioning, the terminal was not put into use and passengers were sitting under makeshift canopies/tents outside the terminal while finishing was going on in the terminal. Why not wait till the terminal was fully ready for use before commissioning / going to press? All the same, good job.

early 2006, security was not an issue then, I bought a ticket and just sat down waiting for the plane . Boarding announced and I walk to the plane, but denied entry "cos I had no boarding pass, "boarding pass"? That was Greek to me then. I was eventually boarded with just the ticket to Abuja. Nothing strange and funny on board, lol.
