@ Gunners. . .I came across an interesting parallel between 2004 and 2008. Though no two seasons can be identical, but this looks very possible

'On Feb 10 2004, Arsenal won 2-0 at home (v So’ton), TH14 scored his 19th of the season in the League; on the 11th, United lost at home (3-2 to Boro), and Arsenal went 5 points clear.

On Feb 11 2008, Arsenal won 2-0 at home, Adebayor scored his 19th of the season in the League, the day after United had lost at home, and Arsenal went 5 points clear.'

In that same season we played MU in the FA cup and went on to win the title. . .This might just be our year again.

Ronaldo is not a striker so his goals will always be a bonus. The noise about his scoring is just that he's standing toe-to-toe with strikers right on their turf and he's still doing his own job as well.Even if he does not finish highest scorer in the league his 19 goals so far are a fantastic return for one whose main task is not scoring. If indeed he finishes highest then he would no doubt have been the best player this season .

Meanwhile,Adebayor was way ahead of CR on the chart earlier in the season so what's the big deal now?

, Senderos has been more than a decent cover for Toure since the CAN began, heck with the way Kolo was turned by that Egyptian one might wonder if Senderos should keep his place (lol, That time never reach).

give Senderos a break - he was outstanding in our last two games, his positioning and reading of the game were excellent. We can't depend on Kolo+Gallas for all games, we need guys like Senderos getting back to their best form.

I still remember this same Senderos with Kolo went through to the CL final a few years ago without conceding a goal, so the boy has some good experience. Now that his confidence is coming back, the sky is his limit.

I'm sure Tony Adams was not as good as Phillipe at this age, the boy will come good!

my eyes r on this trophy too. i can't just wait for my GALDIATORS to win this trophy. imagine the likes of clichy, eduardo, adebayo, sagna (his 1st season) lift the cup. i want us to win the trophy like 4 games before the end of the EPL so that all those other playesr that we havent used will come into the frame and take part in the glory

RVP is regaining fitness I guess, AW made the same mistake that he did with Gallas last season - rushing a player back before he was ready

Now that he's learned that lesson properly, he will wait till RVP is completely ready to bring him back on. . .I have this vision of him being the NITRO that fires us over the final stretch of the season to pick up our desired silverware. He will return with guns blazing, a fire in his belly and a hunger for goals.

Meanwhile, Ade+Dudu are doing the business so I am not that worried anymore. . .especially since Kolo and Eboue came back fit from ACN.

I suspect both of them might play today, to avoid any risks on Senderos and to keep the wing tight.

3-1 is my prediction.
