Wanaj0,just wondering do you if the final allotments for international breweries IPO and Japaul PO are out yet. Access is returning monies for unallotted shares with 5% interest. Well,we'll continue to wait for union diagnostic to be listed |
RoughCut:@Roughcut,sorry what was the Angola stuff again, pls send lowdown 2 ma email addy getdon@usa.com |
@ TeeHay,wanaj0 and all nairalanders, please does anybody know if allotments for union diagnostics PP have been concluded |
@ Teehay sorry, got it already, hope they wont come and tell me the same story about Japaul cos I pumped substantial cheese into that one (p.o)and have been smiling with the nortward movement of the stock. |
TeeHay:@ TeeHay, Pls could you let's have the main allotment for Access Bank? |
@ Wanaj0, Abeg, tell a broda where I go fit get margin facility or loan to buy some penny stocks,I'm tired of those banks that keep giving you a list of stocks you must purchase |
ngegy:Thanx ngegy,so I can now head to my brokers for any return monies to channel to "emerging markets" |
@ Wanaj0, What is the reason behind the bullish run of AP in recent days,is it as a result of stronger fundamentals or pure sentiments, how sustainable is it?What do you think will happen to Transcorp shares now that NCC has issued them an ultimatum to revive MTEL(their subsidiary that is supposed to be the queen bee in their group but has not been since it's the telecomms industry laggard). |
RoughCut:Wanaj0,you scored a bull's eye there and I agree with you. @ Roughcut, regulations or no regulations, any institutional investors that have an eye on taking over a particular company will not carry a placard bearing"hostile take-over intended",they could start with having one or two seats on the board and bide their time for an amendment of relevant portions of the guidelines while all the while carrying out massive under ground lobbying of the regulating authorities.Like Wanaj0 said, the Gaslink example is still fresh. |
What's the reason behind the bullish run of African Petroleum of late. |
steeviee:Wanajo,if you are amazed @ the way guys mention big money on this thread, then I'm "acorned".What was your earlier request again?Does anyone on this thread have Big Treat shares to sell?Access is crossing the N25 mark, congratulations to Roughcut and co.Finally, now that the NSE has given Transcorp a deadline to rejuvenate MTEL or , ,what will happen to transcorp shares that have been on a seemingly unending one-way trip to South Africa |
vigasimple:I intend to visist the UK in the next few weeks and will like to know the rates for short let apartments in central London, especially Islington. You can reach me on dlast2@yahoo.com |
colen212:How authentic is this? What documents/title deeds do you have to issue prospective buyers. Are there Cs of O/deeds of assignment. From what government agency(ies) can verifications be made?Furnish us with the above, tell us more about yourself(since you have not told us that you are representing a registered company/firm) and any other info to authenticate your claims. This is just in line with due diligence in view of the numerous cases of land (and sundry other)fraud presently very rampant in Lagos, nay Nigeria. |
While I wish you all the best of the yuletide season,I implore you to take go through the following security tips if you are in/plan to visit Lagos this season; There will be lots of miscreants on our roads and streets in this period and month of festivity; their sole purpose will be to deprive you of your money and property As such I urge you to take precaution putting @ the forefront your personal safety and that of your property. Please ensure you and your families take the following precaution and any other you may think of; 1. Lock all car doors and windows when driving. 2. Do not leave office at the same time everyday - vary the routine. 3. Use many alternate routes of travel to your destinations, particularly if you leave in down-town Lagos . 4. If your car is lightly hit, either from the rear or from the side, do not stop immediately - it could be a ruse by robbers to get you and snatch your car. 5. Do not stop to render any assistance in an apparent crash or auto accident, even If it looks real. ( Please dial 774 5703; 774 5705; 774 5706; 791-3550; 791-3540 for police assistance) 6. Always keep sufficient fuel level in your car. 7. When driving, be alert to all activities on the road, front and rear. Be well focused. 8. Watch out for someone trailing your car and if you think you are being followed, drive to the nearest Police Station but avoid driving home straight. 9. Avoid giving lifts to unknown persons; you may loose your car or life if you do. 10. Do not expose brief cases, handbags and other valuables on the car seat while driving as this could attract robbers. Robbers may deliberately hit your car to get these valuables ( Please if possible hide bags and valuables under car seat) 11. If your car has a flat tyre, drive on to a SAFE enough area before you change the tyres because armed robbers could in pretext that they are LASTMA officials tow victims' vehicles to an unknown destination. 12. Do not stop if any pedestrian tells you that you have a flat tyre, engine is leaking etc. It could be a device to stop you and attack you.Especially around Abalti barracks,Ojuelegba along Ikorodu rd. 13. Also avoid traffic peak periods and areas with high rate of possible attacks i.e Third Mainland Brigde; Ikoyi, Dolphine, Ketu Alapere 7-Up axis, CMS Bus Stop. Maryland under bridge You-turn. In case of an emergency ( Please dial 774 5703; 774 5705; 774 5706; 791-3550; 791-3540 for police assistance) Season's Greetings of a crime free yuletide

|

tonyjon:Yep,things are improving, having closed @ 2.42 on Thursday,I think it's almost peaked cos I dont see it crossing the 3.00 mark till the rumoured foreign investors come in.If you're thinking of buying,a cross deal by your brokers may be the only source(i.e if they have clients that want to sell).Personally I've asked my brokers to not look for the stock anymore as they've only been able to buy African Paints shares worth less than 10% of the amount I deposited for that transaction------almost a month after I gave them the mandate.Well I'm tracking some other interesting pennies but I need to gather more info on their present state and strategies for improvement. |

By October 9,African Paints traded @ 1.01,by November 14 it closed @ 2.20,appreciating by over 117% within one month. The stock is still appreciating because I heard the company located in Oregun industrial estate had an EGM and took a decision to create additional shares that will enable a core investor(a Europe based institutional investor) to buy into the company. Please does anyone know where I can buy the stocks from or is there any nairalander that has to sell??Help a brother out because my stockbrokers said the stock is very scarce |
