Being a very diplomatic country they are, America will never come out to tell you that they can't deploy troops against boko haram because they don't like the present nigerian government. The handwriting on the wall is legible enough. Since GEJ has gotten to power Nigeria relationship with other foreign countries has been soiled tremendously. His relationship with Obama is bad likewise with David Cameron. Nobody wants to associate with this man. But they are all watching keenly nigeria election. If Jonathan wins genuinely they are going to leave nigerians to their fate for another 4 years. But if Buhari wins, they will observe him for months and see if he's someone they can associate with. And if GEJ rigs the election he should be expected to be ousted out like Gbagbo by the world power

Things like this happen in a society that have bad governance and masses standard of living is abysmal

There are many things I see wrong with this story. First of all, in a normal society, policemen and security aides are not supposed to be deployed in large number to man a single citizen gate. The same security forces that are supposed to enforce law and defend the country are busy singing ogas praises in their houses, no wonder there is high level of crime and insecurity in the country. Deploying police and soldiers to politician residences is waste of Nigerians resources. If a politician has done well, there is no reason to fear for his life. Let's accept that this is the way things work in Nigeria, then why did IGP removed the policemen in the first place. Does it mean that if a politician leaves your party his life should be endanger by removing his security aides? This dirty politics played by Jonathan administration is a big shame.

If the living conditions of the masses is okay and there are proper system in place, there will be reduction in demonic activities like this. Imagine if this truck owner is promised X amount of money for delivering this fresh head and he could make the same amount of money in a month working hard, would he not tell the guy that gave him the assignment to go scre.w himself.

@ClintonDal Just the way people wants to associate with The Abacha's. Jonathan is threading on the path where history will mention his name as the man that had the opportunity of making Nigeria great but never did due to his mediocrity and incompetency.

If the chairman of the only program you promised to improve the lifes of the masses couldnt believe in your ideology and government, then there is something definitely wrong with this Jonathan administration. Do i need to remind Nigerians that SURE P came into existence as a result of increase in pump price that escalated Nigerians agonies.
It's quite obvious that everyone wants a change from this mediocre government. Every leader will be remembered in the book of history in terms what he did when he was in position of power.

Making a lot of enemies while in power will make you have little friends to run to when you leave the position of power. A words of advice for GEJ and PEJ
