I will still say it again and again. It's not about tribe or supporting "our own"? Is he fit to rule? Is he likely to spend over half of his tenure abroad trying to stay alive? These are commonsensical questions we need to ask ourselves. Think about this for a minute: your 20 year-old self was probably in school some 8 years ago and someone took over power. Today you can't say where your country is heading to. In 8 years, you'll be 36 and probably with kids. You'd tell them that, "Oh, we gave him power cos he's our own", is that what you plan on telling them? Because to us, it's that easy to had over power to someone but it's 4 to 8 years of our lives! "Can I risk the next 8 years of my life on he's my own or do I plan to give him power and then look for visa?" Where the hell are you running to? This economy was once as good as those places', why can't it return to its glory days? And the worst thing is that we go out there, we take a whole load of crap from the whites and we can't do nothing because we're in their country. I mean, what can you do? I said "probably have kids" because if we don't get it right, some may never get to have kids. Before you scream "God forbid", think about the people that died in the Ondo church shooting. Hell, they may have been doing the "Pray for Nigeria in distress" prayer when it happened. "Is this person I'm voting fit to handle my future and that of my children?" 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Niorte: No no... This you've not seen. When he came to Anambra, there was nothing there, nothing. By the time he was leaving, there were many things, a whole lot. What's the old man's plan? The other one nko? This man has a good history, foreign investors will come in with confidence, Nigeria has a better chance with him. For one he made his money before politics, how many politicians can say the same? 10 Likes 1 Share |

Niorte: The problem of Nigeria and Nigerians is that we are not yet ready to stop suffering, that's just it. Nigeria has been getting the kind of leaders she deserves. Look at this nonsense, for example: "A governor who carries his own bag is stingy"... because he didn't give 1k to the bag boys to carry his bag. The ones that have been giving elderly women and youth 1k at the polling units, what have they done with our lives? Nothing but looting and killing. If he drives himself to work, so what? The Prime Minister of Britain goes around on his bicycle, the leader of a country whose visa you'll denounce your country for rides bicycles; I've watched the documentary of a president that walks to work. Once again we're presented with a dying man, a criminal and a man who seems to have a plan... And what is this barrel talking about? 99 Likes 10 Shares |

BRATISLAVA: The average Catholic doesn't care whether you're Pentecostal or not. How many times have you seen a Catholic trying to convert you to his/her church from another Christian denomination? Can't even understand why the Pentecostals can't form branches of a single Church, even if it's to remove lawlessness. Pastors hitting old women with crutches in the name of healing and we're here talking about hate for Pentecostals. . . No one hates you o |

derecho: Piiiiii. Wrong. You need to change your Church. The tithe belongs to the ". . .orphans, the widows, (all of whom you can consider as THE NEEDY), the levites (your pastor is supposed to fall in here except his belly is so big it can contain you and all you have). . ." Read your Bible. Don't wait for them to show you Heaven because the can't |
Religion / Re: Bishop Oyedepo: 'If You Don't Pay Tithe, You Are Permanently A Beggar' by Ratuk: 10:39pm On Nov 24, 2017 |
derecho: Then you need to open your mind like Christ was trying to open that of his disciples. You are told to pay tithes, where you taught that there are things that come before and must not be ignored to pay tithe? (Matthew 15). These things are hidden so you keep bringing. People have hungry relations and they carry huge sums to churches, how is that acceptable to Him? What is the Creator of all things going to do with your tithe? ". . . It is Kindness that I want, not your animal sacrifices. . ." (Matthew 9:13) Go and start reading the Word o? Don't wait for your pastor, he can't guarantee your salvation if that's what you're after because he can't even guarantee his own 1 Like |

I have never been against paying tithes or giving to the Church. My one issue is that our Churches/Bible Business Centres have hidden a lot of truth from us, case in point. They tell us to pay tithes but they do not teach us how to pay tithe. First thing they do is run to Malachi 3:10 and tell you to bring your "tithes to the temple. . ." but you'll never hear Deuteronomy 26:12 which tells us to give our tithes to "...the levites, ORPHANS, WIDOWS. . ." which in the modern day can be said to be the Church and the needy ". . .so that in every community they will have all they will need to eat." Today many can't afford the schools built with their tithes. And the Church premises and the schools and the jets and all the supposed vanity belong to whooooooo? The "man of God." Truth is that many Christians are just too afraid to think outside what they are told in Church and yet the truth is not hidden; blind followership. |
