Career / 5 Tips On How To Manage Your Finances More Efficiently by rayleebelle: 4:59pm On Sep 06, 2016
In my school, I had to know how DNA is replicated and why the War of the Roses was called that – but finances, nope! Mathematics and arithmetic are fun (not really), but they did not provide me with what I really need today – and that is how to have enough money to survive from one paycheck to the next.

In this article, I presume that you have a job, or at least some sort of income, and I have a good guess that you are not good at managing your finances; well, guess what? Nobody is. Unless you are Donald Trump and you are born rich. Click to read more https://insidify.com/discovery/5-tips-on-how-to-manage-your-finances-more-efficiently

t is no news that the economy of Nigeria is in a terrible state and nothing seems to work. The naira is continually undulating against the dollar, power production is definitely not at its best as the top six GenCos providing the country with electricity (Egbin Power Limited, Transcorp Power, Shiroro, Kainji/Jebba, Sapele, and Geregu) announced, just last month that they would shut down their power plants operations if the Federal Government, through the Nigerian Bulk Electricity Trader (NBET), refuses to pay its N156 billion debt to them. Not forgetting how the prices of goods and services have skyrocketed and if that is not enough most salaries will remain the same if not slashed in half. click here to Read all https://insidify.com/discovery/the-nigerian-economy:-4-smart-ways-to-weather-the-storm.#
Career / Leadership: This 100-year-old To-do List Hack Still Work Like A Charm by rayleebelle: 4:31pm On Sep 02, 2016
y 1918, Charles M. Schwab was one of the richest men in the world.

Schwab (oddly enough, no relation to Charles R. Schwab, founder of the Charles Schwab Corporation) was the president of the Bethlehem Steel Corporation, the largest shipbuilder and the second-largest steel producer in the U.S. at the time. The famous inventor Thomas Edison once referred to Schwab as the "master hustler." He was constantly seeking an edge over the competition. click here to read more https://insidify.com/discovery/leadership:-this-100-year-old-to-do-list-hack-still-work-like-a-charm

The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, is currently in Nigeria. This is not something that happens every day neither has it ever happened before, but even at that, Zuckerberg’s visit to the country was not announced prior to his arrival. Just this morning, he was seen on an early morning run with the founder of Paga, Tayo Oviosu.

The seventh richest man in the world’s visit might say a lot of things to a lot of people, but the following are major takeaways you should not ignore. https://insidify.com/discovery/mark-zuckerberg's-visit-to-nigeria:-why-you-should-be-excited

Wole Soyinka, born Akinwande Oluwole Babatunde Soyinka into a Yoruba family in Abeokuta, is a Nigerian playwright and poet. He was awarded the 1986 Nobel Prize in Literature, making him the first African to be honored in that category.

Recently, precisely on the 13th July, 2016, Soyinka hit four scores and two years (82) and these are some of his quotes, (I have put them in categories) that if reflected upon, can improve our outlook on life.

On having and maintaining a well-defined personality.

1. Each time I think I've created time for myself, along comes a throwback to disrupt my private space. Wole Soyinka

2. One has a responsibility to clean up one's space and make it livable as far as one's own resources go. That includes not only material resources, but psychological resources: the commitment of time and a portion of your mind to something when you'd rather be doing something else. Wole Soyinka

3. I am a glutton for tranquility. Wole Soyinka

4. I like my peace and quiet whenever I can grab it. Wole Soyinka

On books and education.

1. And I believe that the best learning process of any kind of craft is just to look at the work of others. Wole Soyinka

2. The greatest threat to freedom is the absence of criticism. Wole Soyinka

3. Books and all forms of writing are terror to those who wish to suppress the truth. Click the link to read more: https://insidify.com/discovery/history-tuesday:-28-times-wole-soyinka%E2%80%99s-quotes-inspired-us.
Career / No Pain, No Gain- How Pain Can Activate Positive Energy. by rayleebelle: 12:37pm On Aug 30, 2016
These pains you feel are messengers, listen to them - Rumi Terri DiMatteo.

How much pain are you willing to endure to move forward and make progress?

How much pain are you willing to go through to accomplish your set goal?

In Nigeria today, a lot of people are in pain, tired, frustrated, sad and complaining about how bad things are in the country. Even on a regular basis you meet people who transfer their aggression, pain and frustration on other people, sometimes it could be a bus conductor, when you give him a high denomination of the legal tender e.g N1000, a fish seller when you price her wares too low or a rice seller when you tell her to add more and she tells you how much she buys the rice before cooking it.

Out of all the things in life that people avoid, PAIN is high on the list. Why? Because we want life to be easy and comforting, not hurtful and painful.

Do you remember the Nigerian boxer Efe Ajagba in the concluded Rio 2016 that knocked down his opponent in 23 seconds? When he was asked his secret, he said ‘he just focused all the pain and anger he had for the Nigerian government in one Blow and he knocked his opponent out. Quite tongue-in-cheek but certainly an example of diverting pain to positive energy. continue reading here https://insidify.com/discovery/how-pain-can-activate-positive-energy.#comment
