AlabasheEvents: We take the stress of planning away Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/alabasheevents |
deols: Not married yet but was a part of a family one not long ago.A wedding planner isn't supposed to "take over" they're supposed to "take charge". They should organise the event as the client wants and offer suggestions to make things run smoothly. The client too should communicate their ideas on time and in a concise manner. If u want some family members to be given special attention, tell your planner ahead and give him/her a list. Also, assign a family member to assist and ensure that the planner cooperate. That way things don't get rowdy and your family members feel special too. |

adaku123: @walexyll .. Alright... I guess your points are valid...@walexyll no one is a bros. We're all here to share information and learn. Your posting will depend on where you indicated interest in. You will most likely be posted to the office of your choice if recruited but you'll only know when you get your letter. |
walexyll: funny hw pple jump into conclusion....so, just a single misspell has automatically implied that someone cant survive at PwCNot suprised a simple observation would cause so much drama. I made my comment about misspelling because the work is mostly about documentation. A lot of us are used to writting in shorthand (thanks to text messages) and we sometimes forget to correct that when we write formally. No matter how well you do the work, if your documentation has issues or is deemed illogical you're screwed. You can say whatever you like, been in the system for a while. There will be medicals and i'm sure they'll get back asap. They don't like to waste people's time. Its a lovely place to work and you'll learn a lot if you take guidance and ask questions. |
walexyll: accordin to their recruitment flier, offer of carrier opportunity should follow after d interview...bt my question is that "when will they end d interview process?" is any body still havin d interview?if yes, when?Did u really spell career as "carrier" or it was a joke? If that's how u spell, u have a long way to go before u can survive PwC. |
adaku123:There's no quota on the number of people that'll be picked. Everyone that meets their quota will be employed. There's been a set of about 70 so just focus on being ur best on the day and keep ur fingers crossed |
ajan you are right tried both visa and naira mastercard in walmart but no show... you even have to hold cash these days as these cards can mess you up |
Interesting Ajan. I have been using the Visa/old Mastercard card now for about 6 years and it has been reliable for me however I have not been able to register the Naira card on some sites commonly Amazon.com which the dollar card can do. Also last year when I was out I was charged much more above the interbank rate. GTB told me it was due to errors in their system. carters and zappos dont even accept any card from 9ja Can you give a rundown on sites which accept Naira mastercard |

J.Sparrow:Thank u |
Okija_juju: Here is your post I quoted; That statement should have ended with a question mark and u could have inferred if u had followed my earlier posts and stance on the matter |
Okija_juju: My friend you sef shut up with this God matter sef!! For the fact that you already consider the finding of someone elses money a blessing makes you a thief as well.. In the real sense its not a blessing but a case of lost and found!! HOWEVER like that guy said, na Oyinbo man money, its most likely insured, he will be refunded...Oga, do u know how to read? Please go back and read what I said, I never said finding someone else's money was a "blessing". That was someone else's take which I am against. U know what, to each his own. Just remember we reap what we sow, chikena. If ur conscience does not fault u for taking other people's things then pls carry on. |
Okija_juju: I once had a chat with some of my guys where this issue of if you find money what would you do..Who says he would have done anything productive with the money? or that he would even have been able to grow it? Filthy rich in his life my foot. |
yyb14: assuming dt money belongs to u...wat wil b ur reaction then..will u still curse him for returnin them back to you? Thanks u o, Oya oga answer? |
achi4u: guy stop this your trash.d owner of this cash was a British man who follow kept naija the way it is today. My trash... u're such a sorry case. So God can't find any other way of blessing u but to give u an opportunity to find someone's property and not return it. And how is it this particular British man's fault tht 9ja is the way it is? How would u like to be generalized as a Nigerian on a trip abroad and treated like a criminal cos a Nigerian had previously duped one of the consular officers or their family members? Did it even cross ur mind that the guy might be an employee somewhere and might have lost his job or gone to jail for losing that money? Its not a matter of "holiness", if u want to lose things and find them u've also got to return wat u find. What goes around comes around. |
ypzilanti: My friend forgot N400,000 in a taxi. We never found that money, again. The person who found it saw it as God's blessing and took his opportunity. Lol. I'm sure ur friend didn't rain curses on the "finder" |
achi4u: look at dis one! did he steal that money or was lost but found by this ju-man were talkin about.Lost but found and kept instead of being returned to the rightful owner = stealing. The money was in foreign currency which means it would not have been bulky. And it was most likely forgotten in a luggage. If it were me, i would do the same thing and return it cos I believe in the law of karma and the last thing i need is robbers raiding my house for their own share of whatever i found. My peace of mind is also very important to me. |
samuelee1: Oga, relax. Nobody's perfect, u inclusive. It takes a person filled wit d spirit of God(genuine oh) 2 do itRelax, I can't believe some of the comments i'm reading here. I'm not talking about being perfect, its just that opinions saying that the man did the wrong thing by returning the money is really annoying. HE DID THE RIGHT THING and he shouldn't be castigated for that. And to think that its the same youth, who are the future of this country that are consistently against the current crop of politicians's excesses and clamour for change, making this comments makes me wonder where this country is headed. We do not need to be perfect, we just need to do the right thing and praise those who have the guts to do it instead of saying they're foolish or crazy. |
Okija_juju: God works in mysterious ways...Are u for real? God works in mysterious ways is the justification you'll give for stealing another man's money. Then armed robbers and 419ers are also making use of their God given talent. We have really become a morally bankrupt nation. So if u found that kind of money u would ascribe it to God's mysterious workings. Smh, we are really in trouble in this country. If u also ever forget something of importance in a cab or place don't expect it back cos God has mysteriously used that opportunity to bless someone else. |
Okija_juju: Lightening doesnt strike twice in the same place...R u serious? "Last opportunity at riches". I am shocked at what I am reading. So poverty mentality had entrenched itself in us so deeply. Wow. Stealing is never right and money made that way never lasts. No wonder the people who witnessed the Dana crash were more interested in taking pictures and looting, i'm sure they were seizing their "opportunity" too. When are we going to recognize that until we all learn to do the right thing this nation will not move forward. May God help us. |

.....did u even think about a lotta factors that cud lead to a misspell?havnt u found urself in a situation where u cant even remember d spelling of "boy"
