Currently I'm using Xiaomi Mi Max 1.

My Xiaomi mi max 1 will murder this Fone any day wen it comes to gaming, and its just 3gb of ram. RAM ain't nothing as long as u have upto 2gb of ram and a good processor u are good to go. Because of if na for issues of Apps crashing. They will still crash even if ur fone is 10gb of ram as long as its an Android OS.

IMHO, i think Wizkid lacks lyrical prowess he sings the same tin most times no new story or new flavor. his label should get him good song writers. folks like R.city could really be of help.. Do as Iliyande has suggested, chat with the seller on how to get parts. If possible change the microphone that was faulty. I hope it's not expensive.

It might even be that the speaker has moved out of place and not damaged as we have thought.

tanx mahn. I will talk with the seller. if its too expensive i will just buy me a small phone as my primary phone. the whole tin just seem funny and strange to me

abi... but the issue here is i dont trust these engineers in my place especially with a fone like dis which is so uncommon

Did you solve the initial speaker issue?

it wasnt speaker issue it was microphone. i didnt bother fixing it since i had 2 bluetooth headphones to make calls. so i wasnt really feeling the issue.

but this one weak me bros how can all the whole audio output hardwares of a phone just malfunction at ones

It was a feature phone, speaker was changed, bt very little difference. Very low. I pray urs turns out good. Have u done d hardware test?

i have nevr seen such an issue like dis before with any of the phones ive used previously.. right now sef im doubting if i will ever buy a xiaomi phone again.

Next time i see something strange like this, i will return phone. I remember i had similar issue with a feature phone recently, no matter the hardware we change, it never goes back to the original state. Hoping urs will be different after u change hardware o (nt sure which hardware to change sef)

about the dispute i opened it and i was compensated 20 dollars and the deal was closed. thats like over a month ago now.

about this present issue it just came up this morning. i'm having a strong feeling that it is hard ware problem. i notice that after i flashed the chinese stable rom i was told to flash maybe it could help solve the mic issue (which it didnt) the audio output through headphone was loud and was acting weird so i had to put it in medium to avoid distortion. it was just yesterday that i started using the wired earphone sef cuz it always been using BT headphone. i dont know if its possible for it to have damaged the sound i/c (chip) cuz right now all the sound out put devices are not fnctioning properly. except i use BT(bluetooth)

and about my Rom i was on 8.2.3.0 stable rom wen it happen.

good day folks.. pls my phone (xiaomi mi max) just developed one very rare problem this morning, i was listening to music with my ear phone and suddenly it just stopped working. i tried playing it through the speakers i was playing out but with a very disturbing sound dat overshadowed it sound like radio huush sound and it didnt stop there my primary earphone is so low now i cant even seem to hear anythung. i've flashed it with chinese rom and eu rom and it still persists. pls someone should help me a with a solution

OP, point of correction there is nothing like King Pharaoh. Pharaoh is the title the Egyptian Kings go by so Pharaoh is not an Egyptian kings name. So until anyone can come up with real evidence of the Name of that pharaoh in the Bible I'm gonna believe a crab a.ss about all those stories of Moses, the parting of the reds sea and the dumb a.ss exodus.

Bros gud day. so I later talked with Dreami stores about my Microphone issue. They told me to run mic tests which I had already done. Den they asked to send Dem video of the test. I made the video but I'm a bit confused here cuz I can't find video upload option in the chat app. I've message Dem about it they are yet to reply me. Or u know the means by which I can send it to Dem?

If it's me, i will open a dispute first, to receive partial refund for device not working properly. After that has been solved, if the seller wanna help u, they can send u the part that needs to be changed or u source for it urself,

But note that u need to change to the correct mic or else, ur mic may not function well and most importantly the mic might be functional maybe it wasn't soldered well.
In any case, make sure to have a replacement down before opening ur phone. If u are in lagos, u will get a good engineer in computer village if u look well.

Tanxs I will do just dat. Another thing is dat I'm not in Lagos. But will still find a way Sha, or might even decide to get a small phone for calls. Only issue is I won't be able to record videos anymore.

You can also go to google app settings and turn off "okay google" voice detection.

Have you done a factory reset after update?

I get the same sharp and brief distorted sound wen I try the hardware test. And yes I've done factory reset after the update
