Although the folic acid in Pregnacare isn't as much as what is needed, it is still sufficient;. Though some doctors would insist you add folic acid while some won't especially if you are eating foods and vegetables that are rich in folic acid (iron and calcium).
Some mamas on here that used Pregnacare included additional folic acid but my Dr said so far one is eating well; baby is fine.

Please let's be observant with the packaging and where we buy our drugs from; there are lots of fake Pregnacare.

My dear mama, don’t be worried I took duphaston and folic acid too till I got to 12weeks, I was like you worrying that I need a prenatal but the Dr told me that what I needed the most was folic acid till 12 weeks which I did. After 12weeks I started pregnacare. So relax if you are not up to 12weeks and ask your Dr what prenatal you should take. But if you are going to take pregnacare you must stop taking folic acid since pregnacare contains folic acid.

Hmmmm. My own Dr said I should use pregnacare and folic acid together. That pregnacare has just small co tent of folic acid. This Doctors sef....

Teamie, fesolate n folic acid are not d same. U can also buy pregnacare too and add. Though pregnacare already contains folic acid. As for antenatal, some people start at 12weeks and it also depends on d hospital.

My doctor said its advisable to use folic acid with pregnacare cos pregnacare doesn't have enough folic acid in it.

Please, i want to know if it's okay for someone who is 7weeks+ gone to kpekus? I lost interest recently and I feel guilt atimes, like I'm selfish but I feel weak this days. I don't even want to hear it. My doctor said I should manage cos its very important at this stage.

God is great....the ministry is moving gradually. We are approaching week 8. May God continue to strengthen us all. I'm getting better now, I ate 2 big plates of fried rice today and I will still swallow nice semovita as egusi soup prepared by chef dh. The metallic taste is allowing me to be great Now. God is good.


Seems team March still dey battle with MS o. Ndo all team march mama's. It'll end in praise soon. Let's gather here till next month when we will know our EDD and baby's sex.
