I just remembered my granny had 9 children. Chai! How did she even cope with MS? I don't have MS but lack of appetite and tiredness is dealing with me seriously. Seems pregnancy was so easy back then o.

Congrats to all the mama's who just had their LO.

Eyah. Sowee. I'm good o, I just managed to eat now. Me and water and not friends anymore o, dunno what to do about it cos its strange. Water irritates me badly and I feel like throwing up whenever I drink small water. I know this first trimester will be over soon.... I just can't wait.

As I dey so ehn tiredness, cramps and lack of appetite with metallic like taste bud is worrying me. I can't even go out or do chores at home. It isn't easy o but I know it'll end in praise to Gods holy name.

I've lost weight this past few weeks cos i can't eat. Please, what can I use to scrub, brush or wash my tongue? The metallic taste is not helping me at all. Please.

Good Afternoon mama's. Congrats to all the mama's who put to bed safely. May God continue to be with us all and may other mama's deliver safely too.

No MS so far except loss of appetite,frequent urination, tiredness and I[b] keep having this sharp left lower abdominal cramp and backache.[/b] dh couldn't take it anymore so he said i should go to the hospital.

The Doc said its normal ( implantation). She said i should rest well (I don't have any househelp to assist me with chores and dh is a very busy man).
The Doc said I should come back for ante natal reg when I'm 13weeks gone (still far) .

I've been praying to God to see me through this cramp thing. Is there any mama here who had cramps and how did u manage it please? May God be with us all.

Good morning mummies. This is my first time here and I have truly been blessed by all the testimonies here. I am a FTM, 6weeks and a few days and it has not been funny. Had a miscarriage last year but didn't suffer like this. This one, I have multiple fibroids, severe cramps which my Dr has given me drugs for and serious malaria which I refused to treat ooo cos its injection. I just tire but I am trusting God to see me through. Pls pray for me o.

B.S part 4
DH then came to tell me what he doctor said but I immediately took him to go back and tell him that I was not going to wait for even 10 minutes as I was ready for the surgery ASAP. The doctor came into the ward and I told him that I wanted to discontinue the drip and go for the operation immediately, he didn’t argue with me and did as I said then called my husband to come and sign the consent form, I forgot to mention that the doctor has broken my water since 5pm. I walked into the theater and said to my husband and mom that I would see them in a jiffy. I was given an injection in my spine to numb from my waist downwards. Not up to 15 minutes into the surgery my Son was brought out with his eyes wide opened and him screaming at the top of his lungs. He was taken to be cleaned and weighed. DH and my mom were screaming and taking God , I could hear their voices from the theater. I was stitched back and taken to the ward. I got there and still saw my LO eyes still wide open wondering where he was.


I bless the name of the lord for a wonderful journey and I pray that God Almighty grant other waddling mamas a safe delivery and make our children be great people in the society. Thank you very much mamas for a wonderful journey, we are porting to the new born thread.

1.Yes mild on and off cramps are part of the early preg package.
2. I'm not sure of treating infection while preggy, sabi mamas will chook mouth when they come online.
3.take cucumber, oranges, watermelon, moderation is the watchword! me I took lemon and water cause of nausea and spitting (still taking lemon because of spitting) no pineapple if you are amongst the set that it purges normally, no zobo, no unripe papaya because i learnt they cause uterine contractions. For more on fruits sabi mamas will help you out.
4.sleep anyhow you want until you become uncomfortable but for 2nd trimester, you sleep on your sides, preferably your left. You can start practicing now so you get used to it.
5. If you are high risk, pls do register early if not wait till your 13th week to register.

Good morning mama's. I'm new here.. All the way from TTC thread. I'm so happy to be here.

I'm new in this dept and I'll be needing help, encouragement and advice.

1. I'm having cramps.... Is it part of the show?

2. I have infection and couldn't treat it properly cos i was already Preggy. Attached is my test result. I've been praying to God cos i was given amoxicillin, folic acid and flagyl. I stopped using it but my doctor said I should continue using the medications today cos they are mild antibiotics. Please, is it safe to continue using those antibiotics. Does any mama here have same experience?

3. No MS for now except tiredness and cramps. I pick food too. What fruit juice and fruits can I take at this early stage?

4.whats the best sleeping position for early pregnancy?

5. When is the best time to register for ante natal?
