Honestly, the excesses of these so-called LASTMA is getting too much, last I boarded a bus from Berger towards Gbagada, I was shocked when lastma officials from nowhere intersected the bus at 7up( the designated bus stop). We were told to alighted. Most passengers were grumbling because they had paid the bus conductor and this has affected their transport fare budget for the day......I know some of these drivers are perpetual offender but there are ways to deal will them rather than using this commando style up and down. |
My DStv shows 'Check Signal Cable'. This happens all through the day - Morning and Afternoon. But at night, it shows perfectly without interruptions. What could be the cause Note: I often recharge a day before my subscription expires to retain the old Price. What I was experiencing before was that it was changing channels by itself or it will off will Write searching. Change the LND, I had same issue before. |
Darevofpeace:The day you realize children are trained by you for themselves and not for yourself that is when you have peace. In other words, plan your retirement out of your children.assume they never exist in the first place |
NdubisiCharles:Hmm....I taught this was the case of my wife's sister in law hubby, who left the wife and 3 children for 8 years as well, only to come and starts pleading for reunion with his family which the wife gave in for atlast. Unfortunately, the man came back with a child and other 3 still outside and a gift of HIV, tuberculosis and scabies for himself. Please before your sister accept him, the man should subject himself to HIV testing and other medical tests. Run a background check on him to know the major reason why he wants his family together again. And finally, try and find out if it is case of beans gone sour between the man and her cruised side chick because he can't be only for 8 years. |
Stargurl20:Try and make enquiry, they might have change their location specifically for this census program to area office where they carry out the screening and verification now. locations such as general hospital, health centre, LGA annex/LCDA etc. |
adescopy:Visit the NPC office at the LGA. |
Status finally changed to "Approved" after updating my bank details. Let's keep our fingers crossed for the next stage(training). |
bumy27:They have a motive for not changing the status earlier....thanks so much I have done the needful by visiting their office. |
orlahtohbadt:You are actually right because I just left their office to log complaint concerning my unchanged status after screening was done two weeks ago. However, the network was bad but was told the status will change before the end of today's work. Please don't wait for your status to change automatically on NPC website as politicians have started taking advantage of the loopholes in the process as I saw "list" for a particular person. |

Dgener:Might be referring to the facilitators/SWF that have just concluded their training. |
From the look of things, it seems that no applicant in Lagos state has been approved after the screening. And if your status has changed to "Approved" please signify approved with your LGA. |
bumy27:OK, let's be hopeful. Please can I have your contact send to my mail...real28square@hotmail.co.uk. Hence, we can update each other on WhatsApp. Thanks. |
Yes Please are they attending to those that applied as supervisor too at same venue?[/u @Bumy27, please have you heard any positive news from Ifako Ijaiye general hospital screening center? And have you checked your status lately as mine is still showing pending as at this morning. |
Chyezy:The official was suppose to run a check with your surname and PPA (ward) on their system to confirm your application and call out your phone used in applying before giving you a form (spread sheet format) to fill in your name, sex, age, phone number, highest qualification, MSPID no,e-mail and remark. Physical screening of credentials was the last process. |
bumy27:Thank you so very much, I have completed my screening and the official said I should look forward for SMS in preparation for the venue of training/onboarding as the facilitators are on training at Surulere presently. |
bumy27:Thanks. |

only in Nigeria, where government try to solve problem but ended up creating multiple problems. I am very sure all these filling stations that were duely given licenses and pay taxes to government at all level. Hence, why can't NCS notify the DPR and Depot owners of this development as marketer in this border towns may not be aware of the draconian policy. is border towns no longer part of Nigeria? does that mean that every filling stations at border towns engage in smuggling of the product? this is just a deliberate attempt to impoverish the people of those border town. Do we conclude by saying all the security agencies are saboteurs in this act. This is not the change we carve for, the NCS should do a proper mystery shopping among it staff and the filling stations and if find guilty should face the full wrath of the law. |

Nairaland and misinformation. Information about the confiscation is true, but all the highlighted are not. Besides, that place is not a park; it is a major road, the Okada men impede free movement of pedestrian, If you reside around that axis you will understand better. It's some sort of relief to the pedestrians now. It is not about been misinformed on this platform, because I stay close to this point. It may shock you to know that the same task force come on a weekly basis collect money from this riders and they also pay money on a daily basis as ticketing. although, I am not supporting them for constituting themselves as nuisance to free flow of other road users. But why would they collect money from when they don't want them on that road? |
Honestly, it was so pathetic as I listen to a victim who said her wife has been in labour for 2 days and was about to be operated but was told to bring N70,000 in a public facility and could not afford the bill. Hence, the need for continous hustle. The man was just crying but few that were touched gave an helping hand and a good Samaritan also promise to foot her wife's bill. Nigeria Government is always in the habits of trying to solve a problem but ended up creating multiple problems |
