khenii:
My drafting system was based on picking a random huawei phone and it's gonna give you nice picture quality, same goes for the pixel, Apple and Samsung.

DXO labs is a consulting company as well as a testing company, for a fee, they'll work with smartphone manufacturers before their phones comes out to create a better camera, they'll provide their testing software, their hardware and their testing methodologies so that you can Calibrate your sensors and image processing pipeline to better produce better photos and to also kind of just do better in their test.

It's easy to look at this like they are working with you to get a better score. I'm not saying smartphone manufacturers are specifically tuning their cameras just to get higher DXO scores rather than doing what is best for the consumers, it's just somewhat a blurry line there kinda what we see with benchmarks.

I mean most of the things that do better on DXO marks are also better for the camera but again it's combining it, tuning it to their exact specs. Basically if you don't work with them on tuning your camera suite, you'll get a lower DXO score and if you don't have that dxomark money you are kind of left out in the cold. They might not even test your device.

That being said, in my previous analysis I didn't say there is one best camera, they are all kings in their lanes
1. IPhone for amazing portraits, none comes close
2. Pixel for their brilliant night mode none comes close
3. Huawei for their detail and ultra wide lens
4. Samsung with a little bit of everything (Not the best but relevant in all 3)

Now where does the mi 10 comes in I need to know. Is it simply the best at everything or at what exactly?
in the video, Dxomark made extensive review with several points comparing the MI 10 ultra, the Huawei p40 pro n the Samsung s20 ultra in terms of exposure, bokeh, video, wide shots, colors, night mode, zoom etc, doing an all round comparison on the key indicators used to come up with their rankings, and in all these key indicators the MI 10 ultra did a very good job against the Huawei p40 pro and the Samsung s20, hence the sum up of which actually is the best camera all round having the MI 10 ultra best the Huawei p40 pro and Samsung s20 ultra.
Note, Dxomark did save us the stress by placing their outputs side by side for comparison, so it's a safe to say Dxomark did a hands on comparison void of bias but based on output of the various phones concerned.

Hence at the moment, the MI 10 ultra is the best camera phone out there at the moment till we have another. Like one of the comments made in this thread, na turn by turn, for now the current bad boy on the block is the MI 10 ultra.

Xiaomi has the best camera yen yen yen but you will still go to install GCAM abi, do you not know GCAM is actually short for Google camera specifically made for pixel devices but it is hacked so it would work on other devices. When it comes to cameras ehn nothing beats

1. the Google pixel's impressive computational photography technology.

2. Apple's deep fusion technology using their new A13 Bionic chip to do “pixel-by-pixel processing of photos

3. Huawei and Samsung, a tie cos they both have strengths in different areas, one can't trump the other here

Notable mentions: One plus, Sony, Xiaomi, Nokia
Bud the best camera phone at the moment is the Xiaomi mi 10 ultra

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w_1I88ucdWw

Btw gcam is compatible on both Samsung and Huawei devices less we think they don't and can't be used by its users or not used by its users either for better photography experience too.

Gcam is not a taboo, yet as per stock camera prowess at the moment the MI 10 ultra is the best based on top trusted phone tech industry reviewers and phone camera reviewer such as Dxomark, I'm sure you're aware.
But feel free to counter with your source let's have an edifying discussion. Cheers bud

Currently the mobile phone with the best camera is the Xiaomi mi 10 ultra

Another top trusted phone tech reviewer verdict :

Going thru the thread one can conclude that alot of folks are either not current about phone tech, or just been biased in Judgement. rankings are not done by sentiments, that's why reviews by trusted sources eg dxomark come in using certain standard indicators to come to conclusion about rankings or reviews in the tech space, just like one arguing the rankings of geekbench or antutu e no make sense at all, another thread yesterday had the Huawei p4o as the best camera phone not even taking into consideration the same Huawei already put out the p40 pro, smh, that alone shows the OP isnt current

I just went thru ur link n u seem to argue that Xiaomi can never have better camera to the others while the other guy did quote you to not have proof of ur opinions and shared with you the current ranking from an industry trusted source ranking the Xiaomi mi 10 ultra as the best camera phone at the moment and still you haven't counter his claim with a source too, abi na sentiments u dey use argue ni?

Politics › Re: FG Defends Dangote Over Plan To Sell Fuel At International Price by RealEzee(m): 7:55pm On Sep 14, 2020
COMPAQ:
Did anyone really expect him to do so?

If he sells it lower than 'international price', he bears an opportunity cost and doesn't maximise profit like a business man normally would

If FG sells crude to him below 'international price' , then FG also bears an opportunity cost and is in effect subsidizing and does not maximize potential revenues.

A CASE FOR WHY FG SHOULD NOT MAXIMIZE ITS REVENUES AND NOT SUBSIDIZE:

The world is currently witnessing a peak in the demand for crude oil. Medium to long term forecasts sees demand for crude declining consistently from 2023 or so (depending on the model). In fact, due to COVID-19, one could argue that it has started already.

And where is this decline supposed to come from? Wind and Solar are the fastest growing electricity sources in the world today. This means that many developed countries are replacing gas and heavy oil fired turbines with Solar and Wind. Electricity utilizes about 8% of crude oil.

The real big deal is petrol. Many European and Asian countries are planning significant restrictions or outright bans of internal combustion engine (ICE) cars from 2030 - 2040.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phase-out_of_fossil_fuel_vehicles

Road transportation utilizes 50% of crude oil.
Imagine what happens in 2035 when this happens. A good chunk of crude demand is going to evaporate. . The real shock to the system will happen when America announces it's own ban on new ICE cars. America is the driving capital of the world. From passenger cars to trucks and SUV's to heavy articulated trailers.

All this means that crude has a potential to become as cheap as $20 -$30 in the medium term. In fact, in many cases it will make no sense to continue production in the most expensive areas, hence you hear a lot of talk by NNPC of reducing operating cost. Unfortunately, we make operating cost high in Nigeria by our own actions (NDDC that collects 3%, Security, Corruption etc)

This means that Nigeria is looking down the barrel of reduced earnings from crude by 2030, so it makes NO SENSE to fritter away what we make now in the name of subsidies.

Nigeria needs ALL the money it can make now to diversify it's economy. The removal of subsidy in the electricity sector is also in line with this. If we do not make our electricity sector bankable before 2030- 2035 and almost all new cars are electric, where will we get the electricity to power it? And this will be happening at a time when FG revenues would have significantly reduced. It's a situation the FG has to GET OUT OF NOW!!

Even the mighty Saudi has seen this handwriting on the wall and a notoriously stubborn country that believed it had all the money in the world in finally taking steps to diversify its economy and improve productivity. What has Saudi done in the last few years?

1. Allowed its women to drive in order to enable them to be more productive and add to the economy.
2. Reduce it's subsidy on petrol
3. Introduced taxes for citizens, albeit small.
4. Introduced relaxed visa for outsiders for tourism purposes
5. Invested massively in solar power generation facilities

UAE is a country that has done this already. Yes they have oil, but they used their oil wealth over the last 20 years to invest in infrastructure and a well designed and planned country. Now asides oil, they have a vibrant global airline, global shipping sector, global financial services sector, global tourism sector, solar power sector and even educational sector (many universities have a Dubai center) and relaxed residency visa requirements (now with guaranteed income of $5k a month, you can get a retirement residency visa). So when oil reduces significantly in value, they will have a semblance of an economy to power it forward. Nigeria unfortunately has NONE of the above!

This is why Nigeria can no longer put it's head in the sand and basically flush money down the toilet in the name of subsidies. We are a relatively poor country. Oil brings about 60% of revenue and 90% of forex. Our tax base is really low. Even worse for Nigeria, a lot of our economic activity happens at the informal, subsistence level where it's very difficult to track and tax. Brazil a country with about 5 times our GDP has a budget that is like 36 times bigger, because they are able to generate better tax revenues from their more developed and more formalized economy.
we don't have a money problem but a management problem here, we keep on making budget yearly and taking loans without immediate effect in the economy, all Nigerians including myself ask for the basic things be met by the government and we will thrive, we talk of taxes daily yet what have they done with it really? I have lost trust for the government unfortunately bud.

[quote author= post=93911437]We remembered how we used to live as brothers as sisters in our darling nation with these same Fulani herdsmen.
The times we gave water and food to herdsmen journeying across the nation as they go on their business peacefully,
Just with their sticks for their cattles and kettles for their prayers,
that was all before the evil and criminal minded politicians begun sponsoring some of them for evil because they want unrest and chaos.

That was before the mad man called FFK began tweeting that they have sex with their cows, just to start war and bring unrest in the country.

May it never be well with troublemakers in our darling nation.
May it never be well with all evil herdsmen and all their sponsors.

God bless you too sir.
Goodness and Mercy follow you everyday.
A better Nigeria is all we want.

It is always good and refreshing to see we still have people like you on this forum and in the country.
The future of our country is secured if we can have more youths that reason in positivity.

God bless you once more.
God bless Nigeria.
