Travel / Re: Young Man To Wole Soyinka: Leave My Seat - Tonye Cole, Mo Abudu, Kate Henshaw by realist1234: 3:09pm On Jun 24, 2019
Mr Tonye Cole is a bloody hypocrite. See him pretending to have high morals. It costs the young man nothing to switch seats and Soyinka is not privileged to the seat he dint pay for. I feel the young man messed up. But please Tonye shut up, you have no moral high ground to preach what you dont practise.

The problem of being anti scam is that we do not no what this is shielding the society from. I am against scam but imagine the Nigeria society without it. Imagine the level of unemployment and the millions that are loosing their jobs as I am typing this how do you thinks they will feed themselves. 2017 was the worst year since 1999 when ponzi left so many people broke (poor people normally engage in such to get rich quick which never works). Unemployment plus emptied bank account plus inflation of prices of goods in the market plus high birth rate due to unemployment. Where do you think people would get money to sustain themselves and please do not give me that crap that the system is broken is no excuse to go into fraud. See by 2017 the society had to find a way to sustain people it was either a massive increase in fraud or other vices like kidnapping or armed robbery. For your information the level of prostitution also rose among the ladies around that period. If Nigerians knew the way scam is shielding us from anarchy for now we would just shut up and be more vigilant with our atm or generally be smarter. See the system rewards bad behaviour that is why their are more rich politician than entrepreneurs that why entrepreneurs are even joining politics. The society has always been survival of the fittest you either survive or you die.

Politics / This Country Is A Thicking Time Bomb. by realist1234: 5:57pm On Feb 28, 2019
Nobody in this country country can be said to be free from tribal bias. The truth is that this present generation hate each even more than our parents who planted the seed of hatred by the kind of stories they told us in our early years. As time goes by we begin to see what they told us because the seed has already been planted. Do not get me wrong most of their impressions about the other tribe is almost always spot on. This is because of our cultural orientation toward life is different and we draw such values from the family or peers and friends of our family whom we grew up with. No matter what anybody tells you a multi-cultural society that had no say in its formation will never stand it is only matter of time. There are different breeds of stupid people across every tribe but we are able to be happy amidst such stupid ones because because majority always wins. One thing I have learnt from history whether in school or events that have happened or currently happening is that the only the thing the white man is interested in is furthering their interests whether economical or geographical or political interest in any region. Terms like democracy is just a scam because their no true democracy even the US where lobbyist determine candidates who would win given the citizens the illusion they elected their candidate while in the true sense of it you picked from the ones they selected for you. The white do not care about human rights or democracy in your region, in fact, that is the least of their worries. War is coming maybe not now or soon but the truth is that it is inevitable if we do not talk about the terms of our association which nobody is willing to talk about. As I type this i have vision 2020 and it all about leaving this country. The signs of impending chaos are there.

Travel / What Is The Best African Country To Port To? by realist1234: 7:00pm On Jan 27, 2019
The way this country is going I see no hope. If by February and this man wins again I have a strong feeling he will, I need an exist root that is not South Africa. Europe is good but they no longer want us to come. Canada is hard to get and America is like bet9ja, you may never win. I am going to graduate this year then law school if I see the need. I need to leave this country for Bubu and his lovers to enjoy the catastrophe they are creating. Please any suggestions?

Politics / Re: Nigeria Needs Economic Re-engineering - Obi by realist1234: 10:20am On Dec 29, 2018
theoldpretender:
We need to stop spending money on subsides in the petroleium, education, and power sectors, fight corruption, take loans for power, rail and roads, and use them well, and spend more money on technical education.

Investors would flow in, and Nigeria go better.
I feel people in power already know this but would rather maintain the statusquo. For Nigeria to get better our leaders have to make tough decisions and the leader has to step on many toes at the end of the day the toes he steps on which form part of the cabal benefiting from current events would do everything possible to remove him. I think our leaders know how to fix our problems but rather appeal to citizens bigotry to stay in power. We are practising ethonocracy and the citizen are falling for it.

Politics / Stupidity Is Given A Buhari Supporter Feeding Money After 2019 If Buhari Wins. by realist1234: 11:21am On Dec 21, 2018
The first rule of life is self preservation. No one is above bias whether in form of racism or tribalism. We grow of hearing about how the other tribe or race is bad or inferior, when you eventually grow up you see some elements of truth in all those stories. Whether you believe PDP messed up for sixteen years and so now APC is the solution, you are either delusional or stupid because they are all the same. No one can claim objectivity in the way we make decision but as selfish been we act to our self interest. I understand why politician or their relatives support any party it is to their self interest. If you support any party based on tribe or religion and you have benefited little or noting from the party and you are educated, my friend tear that certificate. This election look at the people and their manifestos and how actualisable they are before you vote for anybody otherwise stay at home and do not vote and continuing suffering in silence. My advise as you think about politics keep acquiring skills that would feed yourself and loved ones.
Politics / Re: Amnesty International Says Fg Responsible For 3,641 Deaths By Killer Herdsmen by realist1234: 6:10pm On Dec 18, 2018
The sins of the father shall follow his children to their seventh generation. I pity Buharis blood line. I wish all APC supporters well, I imagine they do this sleeping well at night. Nothing surprises me in the country any more from supporting those exploiting people of the hard earning money, to those supporting ritualists and rapists blaming it on the girl to those supporting a killer president. I hope you know what you are doing because karma is a law of nature that would visit you irrespective of your belief.

It took nairaland 5pages to report such a inhumane incident. If it is to show us boobs and other rubbish stuff it would land on the front page immediately. I would not be surprised if i look for this page tomorrow and I dont see it. Our media outlets are only profit driven a market for the highest bidder.

Politics / Osibanjo Should Contest Now by realist1234: 1:41pm On Aug 25, 2018
I know it is a little bit absurd but Osibanjo`s best bet of becoming the president of Nigeria is now. If he contest along side Buhari he would probably win 2019 because he has the majority of the southwestern vote but after that what is next for his political carrier. Does he really think core north would leave a fellow northerner and support him. This first tenure with Buhari has been the worst since 1999 and every person knows it. The young people of this country also know that both APC and PDP are one and the same. We support either based on tribal sentiment. Osibanjo should also be aware that Jagaban has his eye on presidency. Osibanjo seems to get the of the youth which constitutes more than 65% of the voting population. He needs to find that young northerner that comes from the right family that his name will resonate well with the norther elite like say Yaradua`s son currently working in NNPC. The northern elites are not happy with Buhari but they have not found someone they can trust. Nigerians would be able to forgive and vote Osibanjo despite the sins of Buhari for now. Anybody that thinks Buhari`s second tenure would be better than his first is joking. The kind of killings that would happen would be beyond anyone`s imagination. The environment is calm because it is election season and the sponsors of these killers are on a low pending the outcome of the election. Leave APC and join party that has no religious or tribal sentiments to it. I believe Osibanjo can be a good leader but might never have the chance to lead if he does not act now.
