Age is a matter of the mind. If you don't mind, it does'nt matter |
I wonder why several months after the whole noise they are yet to start paying the interest promised. SHAME |
Banning Okada and will multiply the already large number of armed robbers and social miscreants we have in the country. The issue is that those who are supposed to regulate the activities of the Okada business are only interested in collecting egunje from them. I have seen many Okadas without registration numbers, seen many carrying up to three people at a time and I am yet to see an Okada rider wearing helmet. They hardly obey traffic regulations, infact which one do I write and not write for they are quite countless. God save us. |
I wonder why people spend fortunes on burials. And it's unfortunate that majority of people even the enlightened and poor in the land indulge in it. But I am happy that Anglican communion in my diocese have long banned expensive burials. They did it by making sure burials are done on Fridays instead of weekends so as to attract less people that will expect to eat and drink. Also dead bodies must be buried within two weeks else the Church will not partake in the burial. As for me I hardly eat or drink at burial ceremonies. I regard it as another time of solemn reflection about life. |
It's true my dear. I have a neighbour whose wife has been expectant since this week. The guys prayers has been that let the baby come on any day except today 29th. This is to avoid his baby celebrating his/her birthday every four years instead of yearly like others. And thank God his prayers were answered as the wife put to bed yesterday 28th morning. Happy birthday to you all leap year people. |
At how much and pictures please. Am looking for a car to buy for my mother. I may be interested. |
As for me, I had a very quiet traditional wedding and my Church wedding was very simple despite the fact that I have all it takes to do a great society wedding. Six years after that I and my wife keep thanking God for that decision and we have been able to achieve so much since then. Not only that, many people followed our footsteps and are happy for that. To me what matters most is life after wedding. |
Orji Uzor Kalu's political enemies at work again. Dont beleive everthing that comes from the so called Abia elders forum or all you read here. |
Quite an interesting topic indeed and I am enjoying all the contributions. But we should not forget that the magnitude of a wedding ceremony does not determine the success of such a wedding. It's good to be moderate about wedding ceremonies because the real challenge comes after the wedding itself. |
Solid Rock Securities and Investments is also out with Private placement at N1.50K per share. They are not even promising applying to be listed soon on the stock exchange. Like Etim and SEC advised above, make your research very well on each company before investing your hard earned money. I have the link to it but finding it difficult placing it here. |
Kajola placement started on 1st February and will end on 11th March. Greenwich trust limited is the issuing house. You can contact them or you check their site. Thanks. |
Another Priavate Placement for you Kajola Integrated Investment Limited Strange name you think? Well, Kajola was unveiled late 2007. The promoters presented it as a modern investment company that will invest in agriculture and agro-allied business, financial services, leisure and tourism, real estate, mining and oil and gas sectors of the economy. Kajola has a private placement for 2.5 billion ordinary shares of N1.00 each at N1.05 per share. It proposes to invest immediately in a microfinance bank, an investment company (venture capital, leasing and private equity), a property management company for investments in real estate and toursim and an agro-allied business. A minimum application volume of 25,000 units is required and in multiples of 10,000 units thereafter. The company has much Osun State flavour, with some of its reputable citizens on the board, but clearly says it’s a company for all Nigerians. Kajola is very much a start-up business. While every equity investment is risk capital, that fact is certainly acc entuated in a start-up. That may be made up for in the lofty business growth plans of the company. |
DAAR communications ( AIT/RAYPOWER ) to raise 13.5 billion naira from public offer. The offer is expected to hit the market soon at N5 per share. |
